Oh. I did a search and this one didn't come up. The only pre-order bonus thread I found was the one for GAME's exclusive box cover and poster.

i would probably rather have this than game's offer. but i already pre-ordered that one anyway...oh well
#5
Have some heat.
#6
I prefer the game offer...
#7
Going to be excellent fun! Ordered, and have all the heat I can give!
#8
Good timing, I was just wondering if there was any possible way that Nintendo could sell this game again.
#9
Hmmm good deal but ill think ill keep my shopto order then I get to play it again a day earlyer lol

I've been playing this and every other zelda game made for the last year on my Wii, trying to figure out the big deal about yet another re-release, at full price non-the-less!

The sooner someone hacks the 3DS the better. Feel sorry for people paying full price for such an old game, regardless of how good it is.

I'll keep my GAME order (they have 8% quidco atm!) and as with the 6 years+ shopping online with game and well over like 130 games ordered I'll get it before release day. Shopto have let me down a few times and with big publishers they have to do as they are told (RDR for example NOONE got that early from ShopTo as they wasn't allowed to dispach untill thursday,) GAME are a great service and also ain't so much of a "rip off" if know how to shop (which all of us on here should)

Why on earth would you feel sorry for them if they enjoy it? It hasn't been released in 3D yet, so for many it is still a worthwhile purchase. Couple that with the newer gamers who have never played OOT before and there's a healthy market for "an old game".

we watch re-makes in the cinema, why can't people understand that just as much effort goes into a remake than the original..

a night to remember springs to mind, I think James Cameron earned his money with the remake.

This game has had the full 3DS treatment so why should it be a tenner???

that's my logic anyway!!

im sure you would feel the same way if sony remastered god of war, sly, ico/shadow of the colossus and charged full price for each one

+1 shopto has amazing customer service. Loyal and give discounts with old customers and games a day or two before release. Heat for the deal but I'll stick with my shopto pre order ;0) .

I always find Play quite slow due to being based in Jersey. For me orders take 4-7 days to arrive normally if in stock.

You can play Ocarina of Time in 3D via emulation on pc.

You can also play other N64 games in 3D too. Just need a cheap pair of anaglyph 3D glasses.

One thing I'm curious about is does the 3DS rumble? Seem to remember it was quite a good feature of Ocarina.

I envy those playing Ocarina for the first time on 3DS. Curious to see how it sells. In a way I hope it sells badly so Nintendo start making original games for 3DS rather than N64 ports. However if you are going to convert any N64 game to 3DS this is the one.

How old the game is really doesn't affect anything. If the game had been brought out this week as a brand new game instead of a remake it would still be an amazing game.
Just because the game was designed 13 years ago doesn't make the level design any worse, puzzles any less challenging, characters any less lovable, storyline any less enjoyable, side quests any less distracting, etc.

I agree that the Nintendo 64 ports should not have been full price, but other than that there are loads Nintendo DS (not 3DS as of yet, but those will hit stores this holiday season) games that I am more willing to pay 30 quid for than iPhone games that are worth 60p to me.

Nothing will top the GAME preorder bonus. You get a seperate box with the gold (better) box art.

I pre-ordered mine last month with a £10 off mcdonalds code..think I'll get the case as well? =)
#21
WHATT! The best game of all time is being re-released on 3ds! Might have to go and get a 3ds now.

I used to love playing this on my old Purple Gameboy Color :D

Thanks for the heat, but this is a 3DS update of one of the Nintendo 64 Zelda games, not the Game Boy Color games.

Good find, although I don't fancy waiting for Play to send it! lol.

Heat from me still, I wouldn't mind getting that case but I gone for the other pre-order bonus :)

Also I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of those cases appear on eBay soon

At about £30 each i bet knowing ebay.

I'm pre-ordering this and the Gamestation one. I'll sell this one on and keep the slip case.

Can't quite understand all this ranting. It's not as though people are being forced to buy these games and why should anyone feel qualified to dictate how Nintendo does business.
And I don't think it is very adult to promote the hacking of the 3DS unless that same person thinks it's OK to rob banks or sell drugs.
I for one will be buying this, one of my all time faves looking much better and in 3D.
#29
Meh, whats the case made out of?
I'd rather some kind of discount on the game but this seems like a release that won't really be dropping much in price tbh.
#30
Did anyone get the case with their order?

Same here :| Read on several Nintendo forums that Play.com orders are yet to arrive.

Mine was apparently post wednesday but still not turned up yet either. :(
#34
play.com are pathetic when it comes to delivering on the day of release. Still waiting for the game!
#35
I was expressing my enthusiasm of the game!!!

If I could take the heat back I would because of your bad attitude!!!

I loved the game on the gameboy Color and I'm sure I will love the game on my 3DS, Do Not Mock me Boy!!!

i received my game today but no slip case came with it, i checked the email they sent me to confirm the order and its states i ordered the one with the case. Also when i check my order history the cheeky buggers at play have changed it so it just says zelda without the slip case part

I didn't get my pre-order bonus slip case from Play.com either! With it being 4 days late I would have expected the bonus at least! Also they have changed the name of my copy on their website too so that it looks like I didn't order the pre-order bonus version! Although this could just be because they are using the name of the product that they are selling now, that doesn't have the pre-order bonus obviously... Still I want my 3DS slip case!

did you forget it was play.com people?
