Does this come with a voucher for a free pair of prescription glasses after it has knackered your eyesight? :p

Same price as Toys R Us online, but it's still a great deal. If HMV doesn't follow suit, then I'll cancel and go trade my DSi in at GAME instead, if they're still doing to the trade-in deals, because they've removed the list of them from their website.

Just turn off the 3D if you are so worried about not getting a free prescription glasses (yes I know you was making a joke). If you are unable to turn off the 3D for some reason then you shouldn't be playing any video game in the first place...seriously guys.

So any hope of a price drop at game/gamestation instore?

I'll be popping into my local this afternoon, so if no-one's found out by then I'll report back here.

What's the point in turning off the 3d? Then it's just an overpriced DSi...

Anyway, I guess this thing requires you to hold it in a certain position for the 3D to be effective? All of the adverts show people holding it up right in front of their faces, which looks most uncomfortable.

With the 3D off it still has a lot more features than the DSi. Wii like graphics (DSi has N64 type graphics), wide screen, motion sensor, 3 cameras (can take 3D pictures when 3D is on), augmented reality, SpotPass and StreetPass and an MP3 player.

£196.99 price is online only. Official Nintendo Magazine staffer Tom got word from GAME.

Just to let you all know that this offer is online only. Contacted GAME PR and was told that the console costs £219.99 in store. The online deal is as a response to to the online competition.

It seems that Sainsbury's and Morrisons have the best in-store offers.

Fair enough! Doubt I'd get one though, my DS has sat in a drawer for ages... oO

Some of the features wont be available till May like eshop, browser and dsi transfer when first update is due apparently. Also games will be region locked.

Don't forget reward card points also at nearly £5!! Making it the best deal on the net!

Same price at HMV online and you can get Pure points if you're bothered about those. £209.99 with a game.

This gives you double pure points (approx 40,000) which equates to £10 of HMV credit http://pure.hmv.com/other-film-stuff/ps10-purehmv-credit/invt/f091000398/
unfortunately no Quidco, though.

Not sure if to stick to the Currys/PC World deal (£199, £10 deposit, £75 free voucher book), or go with GAME simply for the points.

You never know what vouchers your going to get with Currys, and tbh, you get cheaper stuff at GAME.
