may be £2.99 cheaper than Sainsbury's, but Sainsbury's give you 1000 nectar points worth £5

I don't understand either. This is the cheapest in-store price so far. Only price cheaper than this is Toys R Us' £196.99 online price.

That's good for people with a Nectar Card. My wife's pre-ordered with them for that, plus she works there, so she gets the staff discount, but that is a good deal even without the staff discount. Point is, that this is the best straight up in-store price.

Please bear in mind, we have been told (as staff) that there will be no free stock available on launch date. Only those that pre-order can be certain of getting one on the 25th.

Yes i have also seen the email sent to Morrisons stores saying there is NO limit on the amount of consoles that can be "pre-ordered" (deposit of £10.00) and also NO restrictions on the use of staff discount cards when purchasing the console!

Might get myself a couple of them and sell them on Ebay.Good profit to be made on these! (_;)

same price in tesco

Online, yes. I've not seen anything saying they'll be doing that price in-store. They'd be wise to though, if not lower, so they can compete on launch day.

Ah, cool. £25 deposit though? Everywhere else it's only £10. Oh well, it all gets paid in the end. :p

its only nearly £200 retail price because it's new. once it's settled, it will come down in price just like any other stuff.

I had a play with a 3DS at Game yesterday and wow - i was impressed! getting mine from HMV tho as they will give me £60 for my son's DS Lite.
