Symbian out dated OS
#2
£35 a month for 24 months seems very expensive for any nokia.
#3
rubbish Symbian is dead Nokia are making Windows mobiles from now on and lets face it Nokia haven't made a good phone for years, there range topping mobile can be had on £20 a month contract and i wouldn't beg that either
#4
this is the dumbest deal ever
#5
Good bit of kit - Symbian is far from dead and it still better than WP7 imo. But 2 yrs at 35ppm? Cold as - can get way better for less.
#6
Symbian=Text Mode, IOS4 and Android = Graphic Mode.

The E7 is a fine handset - but £35 x 24 months is a huge price to pay. A monthly rental of £25 would be attractive, but £35 is too much.

Cold

If the E7 is as bad as the N8, its cold just for that reason, let alone having to pay £35pm for 2 years.

Just got from nokia the n8 on t mobile with 300 mins 300 texts unlimited internet only £20.42 a month ,thats not a bad deal as wanted the sim for my 32 gb 3gs i phone so will sell the phone on as unlocked all networks and even got a free 16 gb micro memory card ..

Got to agree with all the Nokia haters I'm afraid.

I moved from the N97 to the iPhone 4 and the difference is like night and day.

The main difference is iPhone OS works whereas Symbian doesn't!!!

Also, the E7 will be £20 pm after a few weeks so a very bad deal

Moved from the Nokia 5800 to android, and like sajidaslamuk mentions, its like comparing day and night! I thought the nokia was great but.. not now, If nokia had moved to android instead of Windows I would have considered another nokia, not now

Same here. Moved from 5800 to android and it feels like freedom.

you really cant compare symbian on a 5800 to the new upgraded symbian, there is a huge difference.

True, S60 3rd is better than any non-touch ui out there tbh and s60 5th edition (5800, n97) was an utter mess. S^3 is much improved but I think its too late to restore faith in symbian. Still better than wp7 imo - has carbide c++, widget, qt and qml support - wp7 is tied down to an anchor.
