Judging by all the negative comments about ChoicesUK on Hotdeals I would stick with Amazon.co.uk.

Name one other place selling this for £29.99 other than ChoicesUK.
Don't bother about including Quidco as you have to pay £5 to join that and then usually have to wait 3 months until you get the money.

LOL at not including quidco. Everyone includes quidco as you'd be mad not to include it.

I have had £800 in the last year alone from quidco so its stupid to say it doesn't count when comparing deal prices. Worth the £5 fee which only comes from cashback anyway so a no brainer

Whats wrong with choicesuk then?

good deal better at amazon than choices because they post it out lol

Other members have reported at the link above that they have had problems with ChoicesUK.

Your the one who is saying that the price is £29.99 at most places so please do list them all for us.

As for Quidco you should know that when posting deals you DO NOT ever include Quidco as the final price, but you can remind people that Quidco is available for those who want it.
I have made about £200+ in the last year through Quidco as well.

Bah why is the 360 version £35 now? I have £20 of amazon vouchers coming through the post and was going to use them to preorder this. Typical!

seems to be an awful lot of hype surrounding this game but i'll be waiting for the price to drop as ive read mixed reviews of the demo - mainly about the co-op AI and the fact that you cant move whilst shooting
#15
got mine on pre order from GAME for £29.99 :) , pre ordered way back in november so get to keep it at that price and still get quidco and loyalty points :)

I was pretty unimpressed by the demo, so I'm in no rush to play this. Would have thought at least one of the supermarkets will have it at this price on release day, and if not would probably recommend shopto or game.

Hot for the price though.

Same here, have seen it reviewed on a couple of TV shows and on a few game websites, not really that impressed with it now and have cancelled my pre-order.

It has become more of a FPS rather than survival horror and the fact that you are forced in to co-op is a major no no for me.

I am not bothered by the controls as you have never been allowed to run and shoot in RE games except for in RE:Outbreak File #2.

I would prefer to play the game on my own rather than have a computer AI tag along and get in the way.

Looks like even the puzzle solving aspect of the series has been watered down.

I have instead purchased Resident Evil: Outbreak, Resident Evil: Outbreak File #2, Resident Evil: Code Veronica X all for the PS2, never played them before as i had an Xbox 1, glad my PS3 supports full backwards compatibility.

Be aware that capcom closed its servers for Outbreak, so its Bots only offline :(

Not sure if I want the game (depending on reviews), but at least I've secured a copy at a cheap price. Thank you!
#28
Best price around - but the game looks pants! Seriously, Capcom have messed up with this one....

If you want to play a co-op RE game, try RE Zero on the Gamecube - way better than this load of old tripe......

Argos have it for £29.99 pre order too for both PS3 & 360.

Free delivery for the release date and 1.5% quidco too, surely better than Amazon?

I don't think so. I pre-ordered Street Fighter 4 with Amazon on Free Super Saver delivery and apparently they will only dispatch a day before the actual release (definitely won't arrive on time).

Noticed play.com dispatched earlier (with 1st Class Royal Mail) so canceled my order with Amazon.

However, I believe you will only get it on release day if you opted for Amazon Prime. Hope that helps.
#31
Yes you will get it on the day of release just pay for normal 1st class delivery.

You do realise my comments are from 19th Feb when this was the best price, now a couple of weeks later other retailers have changed there prices as well, maybe due to lower than expected pre-orders...?

I'm aware of the post date fella, but you do realise that the Argos deal HERE was posted literally hours after the Amazon deal, making my post relevant to the statement in your original post (which was if there were any other retailers at that price around the same time).

Just merely pointing out that Argos had (and still has) the same deal, but with free delivery for release & quidco; it's not been mentioned in the whole thread.

My original post was reffering to csiman comments that "same price most other places and with quidco." when in fact only ChoicesUK at that time was selling it at £29.99.

Also the Argos deal was posted 2 days after mine. :whistling:

The price on the Argos website went live on the 18th.

Sorry, what I meant to put was after your comment (regarding other retailers at the same price) rather than the deal post.
#36
It's all really a mute point now as most people ordered a copy of RE5 for either £25 or £28 yesterday from TheHut deal.
#37
damn this has gone up in price to around £40 now and its not being sold by amazon directly.. deal expired!
