I don't think this actually includes the blu-ray player, unless I've missed something.

* 5.1ch home theatre kit with 4 x satellite speakers
* Matches beautifully with Blu-ray Player
* Total 1000W
* Digital amplifier S-Master
* BD/DVD upscale to 1080p
* HDMI repeater 3-In/1-Out
* BRAVIA S

Looks like it's just an amp, in which case it's not a very hot deal, if it does have a BluRay then it's pretty good!!

Edit - Those two statements are pretty confusing :S

review here guys, from reading the AVForums it is just a new model of the 1300 which is also out. It only really adds the capability to use Wireless rear speakers but you have to pay extra for a wireless adaptor for the speakes, which seems pointless to be honest.

Nope no bluray on this one! is it just me or is BluRay ready a total con? I mean may as well say any amp is BluRay ready as long as it has a HDMI input or even multi line input!

Yeah, 'BluRay ready' doesn't rerally mean a lot :)

play is ok for cds and the like...but anything electronic,or infact anything of value goeswrong after a couple of months play dont want to know,its the manufacturer you have to contact as play only give a 28 day warranty,there after sales is shocking avoid like the plague

To a certain extent but to be fully Bluray ready they should also have onboard decoding of DTS-MA and Dolby TrueHD to allow bitstreaming of these audio codecs. Not all HDMI amps do.

True, but most players can decode it themselves at the moment. Just think it is a marketing ploy more than anything else.:roll:
Still doesnt matter to me as I have an Amp that can do it all! :-D
