Eurogamer have just given this 8/10 so a pretty good game.

Voted hot at this price, good deal whether you want the game or not!

Good price, liked the demo, thank you!

Looks good to me! Played it. Maybe a bit short, but good fun and value for £24.99.
#4
PS3 too

Make sure you try the demo first. This game looks really good in reviews and screen shots but I found it pretty disappointing.

yeah same here, not my cup of tea but good price for a new release game.

yeah me too, the demo was rubbish! i think everyone should play the demo before they part with their cash...as their view might just change

its a shame that there isn't a demo prior to every game release

So am I the only one that liked the demo? Found it quite addictive, went back and played it through a LOT, eventually beat it on the hardest difficulty and had a good laugh trying to do so!

Still, doubt I will buy it because I guess its all the same.

Devil May Cry 4 (regular edition - Playstation 3) was up for £24.99 apparently early today as well! on Gamestation but they quickly changed the price within an hour I was gutted I missed it.:-(

Turok looks good for £24.99 but many say it is a medicore shoot-em up. The Club seems okay I played the demo.

Hot price still.

Loved the demo, already pre-ordered at that price, voted hot.

But yes, I can see how it's a marmite game. I love games with high score mechanics, combos and all that. If anything, it's a cross between a racing game and a third-person shooter.

If you're the kind of person who likes a deep story or plot (which I'm not - I prefer films and books for all that), then perhaps not for you. The mechanic definitely has an "old school" vibe to it, so if you fancy battling your friends for the highest scores and best times, it could be up your street.

i did too awful game

i thought the demo was ace!
Even hard seemed abit too easy though.

£24.99 is brilliant for a new release, but it's not that high on my most wanted list.

So I think i'll wait

thanks OP!

£39.99 now...

I loved the PS3 demo, as did my kids. We regularly go back to it to play the offline multiplay split-screen match.

I pre-ordered from GAME on 25 January (£36.99 after a £3 voucher code, then 11% QuidCo & double reward points ]£2] too), but have now cancelled & ordered from GameStation instead, as even with all the discounts & cashback this price (£24.99 with free delivery) is still cheaper.

BFN,

fp.

EDIT: Price of PS3 title now up to £39.99 at GameStation.co.uk!

Wasn't FHM doing a £34 subscription offer that gave you The Club and Condemned 2 free? Which would make The Club £17. Anyone interested should be able to find the thread on here.

"The Club" [PS3] arrived from GameStation this morning... I'll see if I can resist unwrapping it as it is a Birthday Anniversary present for one of my kids at the end of February.

Like he's going to know it was sealed!?! :)
