Kinect Sensor with Kinect Adventures (Xbox 360)

I was in my local store today this is a nearly new sensor bar only with the power leads for older models comes boxed with kinect adventures games. ideal if you dont want to pay full price n leave it unused for the summer months...

Instore at Sheffield was told other shops nationwide stock these too.

This item is used but is in perfect working order, it comes boxed with the kinect adventures game.

Technical Details
You are the controller. Kinect uses a sensor to track your body movement and recognise your face, even listen to your voice.
Smart enough to remember voices and faces and provides an in-game experience in which the player’s face and voice are recognised. Greet and speak to characters in the game, or simply step into view of the sensor to log into Xbox LIVE and connect with friends.

Makes social gaming off-the-couch fun by providing gameplay that gets you off the couch, on your feet and in the fun.
Each Kinect experience is designed to get players moving, laughing, cheering and playing together.

I bought mine for £130 + £250 on games.

I got it December 31st, dislocated shoulder on Jan 3rd which led to needing me to rest shoulder for an operation on Feb 21st. It is now April 6th and I am still not allowed to play it!

I dont usually mind about a few lost £ when buying early, but ive lost £150+ now and didn't get the early fun of playing it!

i dont understand why people vote hot for this. this is probably one kinect sensor in one store at this price. the price may also reflect that something was not right with the sensor. weirdo!

think that joke is in very poor taste

This is obviously subject to a kid's christmas present being stolen and sold to Cash Converters.

Their prices are also very inconsistent. You'll find a game for £19.99 and then the same game for £7.99 right next to it.

If Cash Converters is allowed, so should normal buy it now items on eBay.

I think that you thinking it's in bad taste is a slight to his dead wife's memory!

Doubt that very much. Guinness book of records have just announced it's the:

"Fastest-Selling Consumer Electronics Device. The hardware, that allows controller-free gaming, sold through an average of 133,333 units per day, for a total of 8 million units in its first 60 days on sale from 4 November 2010 to 3 January 2011"

That includes selling faster than the iPad and the iPhone. It's gone on to sell a total of 10 million since then. So I don't see why MS would drop the price significantly any time soon.

I agree with you, but be careful with your facts cos you made it sound Carp it sold 8000000 in 2 months and then since then sold 2000000 in 3 months makes it sound like it will be getting very cheap very fast lol
#22
I know fck all about these things but why would a pawnbroker be knocking these out at nearly 1/2 the price?
What price did they give the owner in the 1st place?
Has anybody actually got 1 at this price yet?
I smell sumthin............

It was always going to slow down. Nothing is going to sell that well for 6 months on the trot. In saying that it's still selling really well, miles better than anyone would have thought at launch.

I wonder IF this is from the Government "Bully Boys" raiding some poor sods house cause they couldnt afford the council tax? CC are known to buy from Govnmnt Auctions, so, they pay a pittance for this (and many other things to boot) and sell it on at a massive profit!

I agree but going from 133,333 a day to 666,666 a month is a big knockdown its not like a game so should sell better then that

Also if you have a UV light you may be able to find a postcode and return it to where it was stolen from.

Re RB40

If someone isn't paying council tax surely they have every right to take someone's property! And if you cant afford council tax why have you bought a Kinect???
#30
Two things:

1) CC pretty much have Kinect's nationwide, as do most 2nd hand stores.

2) CC isn't a chain store. It's a franchise, and in terms of prices are run independantly by each store, with individual employees deciding what they buy, and sell goods for. So just because one store sells one at £60, another may sell it at £80 or £90. In fact, the same store selling it at £60 quite likely has others at different prices depending on what they were bought in at, and how desperate they are to get rid of them. So the price is anything but nationwide.

>> why would a pawnbroker be knocking these out at nearly 1/2 the price?
>> What price did they give the owner in the 1st place?

They bought it in at £50? Or £60 and have shed loads and wanna get rid before they start making a loss? Or £70 and want to limit their loss?

>> Has anybody actually got 1 at this price yet?

Yes ;)

considering it can be had new for close to £90 i dont think selling it second hand for £30 less is so much of a jump to make peoples statements on its legallity or avalability here seem reasonable.
#32
Not much of a confirmed deal other than 1store yet it gets mega hot.
