Seems a good price, but anyone had a pre owned from them before? Just wondering what the condition was like and if they came with any warranty etc.

They'll offer a 1 year warranty =D
I have said this on another thread but i'll say it again..

my mate works in Gamestation and he said that, alot of the Wii's & 360's get returned because they have faults, or red ring of death (on 360) once turned on.

Gamestation ARE supposed to check the consoles in the shop but often don't as it takes alot of time when the customer is trying to trade & purchase something. Even if the sales assistant checked the console, who's to say it doesn't have an intermittant fault?

i'm sure if you took it back to gamestation they'd be fine, but its alot of hassle just to save £30 off the cost of a new console?

There are honest people, and not so honest people. Some trade in their console for something else, whilst some trade it in because there's a fault somewhere in there.

You're supposed to be covered by the 1 year warranty, so if you are up for a little bit of a gamble, go ahead.
does it come with wii sports

Nintendo Wii Console with Wii Sports - Preowned
Mario Kart Wii with Official Wii Wheel
Wii normal price (£180)
Mario Kart normal price (£35)
Like someone above said, Gamestation don't often check the consoles - or at least they don't check they thoroughly.

I know people that have repaired 360's from RRoD, then taken them in to trade for cash. Chances are they wouldn't last a couple of months.

Good news is, I also know many people that have bought preowned consoles from them (and preowned accessories). They offer the same warranty as they would if you bought a brand new product and will usually just swap it for you straight away (they always have for me). If they can't swap it, they will probably give you credit or a refund I would have thought - or perhaps a brand new console.

This may vary from store to store...but my experience comes 100% from the Wakefield branch.

Hope this information is of some help.

i got a DS from them and it was in a shocking state and after 2 days it packed up :@ (worst bit was it was my sisters bday present)

however we went back and they let me swap it for a dslite which is perfect and i could not be happier

we have also had 2 Xbox's and a Gamecube all without any problems

on the other hand the prices of the 2nd hand consoles (xbox 360 etc) are not that good imo save up a little more and go for a new one
gutted i posted without wii sports :( wonder if i can cancel my order and get this bundle i will give them a ring! they also had another wii with another game for same price
does it state you get wii play with this when you click on link? as im just getting wii n mario kart
Just to be clear, their site says Gamestation only offer a 28 day warranty NOT a year.
In fact, we are so confident that our pre-owned items are just as good as new, we fully guarantee them for the same [28 day period we would new games. Also, just like our new consoles, for a small fee you can even take up our extended warranty scheme to totally bomb proof your purchase!

Also the description says nothing about coming with Wii Sports, although they do (on the same page) make the claim their new consoles will come with the same accessories as the new ones.
They used to offer a year as thats the only reason we got our xbox's from them, i wonder if it was costing more then it was worth
