There's no mandatory 12 months either but most places do give one.

I can confirm the deal as just been in and they had it advertised. Just live this morning. Think the free game is to the value of £22.99 (pre-owned).

Good price! My local gamestation (Maidenhead) is selling the Wii with Wii sports for £129 pre-owned (has been doing so for a while) and has 8-9 in the window but to get an additional game with it!....

The The EC Directive on the Sale of Consumer Goods and Associated Guarantees requires manufacturers are responsible for 24month. (after 6months the onus is on the purchaser to prove the fault existed at the time of purchase). The Limitations Act 1980 in the UK gives you upto 6 years (but obviously it's got to be a reasonable time).

For new items that is.

This deal is with any Pre-owned £22.99 Game or Accessory (I.E. a 2nd preowned wii remote), you need to altar your title. Still a great deal though, super mario galaxy is £22.99 amongst others.... :gift:

Confirmed my local selling at £129 with wii sports and they have 2

Bought mine,it was a bit grubby so cleaned it up with baby wipes and it looks brand new! Checked the bottom of the bag to find i got 2 controls instead of 1!!!! I managed to get mario galaxy with it so not bad as its normally in the region of £20. Thanks very much i will have a happy little boy now

The store never checked on their system then - get them to search for the Nintendo Wii pre-owned, the price went down Thursday along with the Xbox 360 Premium (pre-owned) to £129.99, and PSPs pre-owned to £74.99.

I never claimed there was - I said the European Union holds a manufacturer responsible for their goods for 24months. Any warranty on top of that is merely a bonus - your statutory rights will cover you in the event of a faulty product.

Just called 2 which seemed to know about the special, but didnt have any in stock

just called another 2 (all south west London wimbledon area) and noone seems to have preowned in stock . If anyone finds any in London plz tell me :thumbsup:
