i know this has been posted before on a few occasions but stock is always an issue, this may come in handy for someone not too far away, at hunslet leeds today they had 3 black (120gig) for 19.99 and 5 grey not sure if 20gig 9.99 or 60gig 14.99 maybe more stock in other stores could be worth a look

I dont know if they have to be specific HDD in the 360, but if not, £20 for a second hand 120Gb is not that great when you can get brand new 250Gb ones for £25 to 30.

^^ unfortunately it has to be a specific drive (WD Scorpio) and there is the worry that Microsoft might lock generic drives from the 360.
I did think about getting my own drive for my 4gb slim but the worry is there so i might just get the official hard drive :(

Hunslet store sucks, staff are terrible.

Hot deal though :P

Hot as you can take the 2.5" drive out and stick it in a 4GB New Xbox (with or without a case)

Thats disappointing, I thought that MS had learnt from Sony re not ripping off its user base with over priced drives!! Cheers for info though ;)

well the official drive is hitachi. but the software hack that someone wrote to create your own 360 compatible drive only works on scorpio drives.

and yes, you are right. i was a tad disappointed when i got my xbox and found that you cant use any hard drives plus it doesn't play any of my movies on my NAS that my ps3 can play with no trouble :(

Yep, 20GB for £10 at Hunslet Store - not bad at all! Just hope it works now as they don't test them. Still, have a 6 month guarantee.

Did you buy one? Any 120gb left?
