Get to da choppa! Next best is £5.99 at HMV and a good time to repost as it has been a month since the last posting. Just don't expect the steelbook: those are out of print.

In a place without rules - the hunter has become the hunted. Deep inside the jungles of Latin America, Schwarzenegger's team of elite commandos are being slaughtered by a mysterious predator. No longer are they hunters - they are the prey... of an alien whose only instinct is to kill. One by one it strikes with inhuman ferocity. Now to survive, with the jungle as their only ally, they face their greatest challenge: to stay alive.

"Bunch of slack-jawed faggots around here. This stuff will make you a god damned sexual Tyrannosaurus, just like me"

Classic!

After rubbishey modern 'action' films, returning to a film like Predator just blows my mind. Its the absolute classic men on a mission movie with an awesome dynamic between the actors.

And the music... well its just perfect.

Sometimes I so glad that movies like Predator exist. I think without Robocop, Terminator, Die Hard and Predator, my childhood would have been culturally impaired.

I agree,..........Commando is another one of my childhood memories!

Back to predator though:
"You're ghosting us mother f***, do that again I'll bleed you, real quiet, leave you here"

Just extras.

As said in the first post, plastic. The steel ones have been discontinued for a year now.

not a bad price for the film

I heard a lot of versions of this film are censored (presumably the skinning bit at the start). Anyone know if this one is as well, or is it complete?
#16
Get it if you haven't got it already I guess

The only cut version in the UK was the first DVD release. It has been uncut for a long time now. This release is uncut.

I concur with regards to the music; Alan Silvestri's background score is still stimulating even today. The film itself - well let's just say one of the best, if not THE best, high-octane action films EVER to be made. No matter how many mediocre or downright sh*te movies McTiernan churns out nowadays, his legacy is undisputable as the man who gave us Predator, Die Hard, The Hunt for Red October - and to a lesser extent Die Hard With A Vengeance.
