The Ultimate Hunter edition is the one with with the DNR (digital noise reduction) turned up to 1000 so it removes all natural grain and makes arnie look like a waxwork. The first issue wasn't the best but looks more natural.

I just looked up the site that pic is from to find which picture was which. I was surprised to find it was meant to be the image on the left which was the "Worse" image, it looks miles better to me! The left hand image is the ultimate hunter version and the right the original.

Yeah I was thinking the same. The one on the left looks better because they've boosted the contrast, but it means things like the stubble have been a bit smoothed over in the DNR process

Exactly - think that's bad? check out Carl Weathers - They've actually managed to turn him from 'Action Jackson' into 'Action Man' :D
