A cracking deal ... if I can get through the snow. Well worth the trip at this price though!
#2
Hobgoblin's quite nice, but my local lidl didnt have any

btw, if you see any 'Rudolph' beer knocking around your Lidl grab it, it's real nice :)
#3
fill yer boots
#4
I thought Hobgoblin was cider?
#5
Something odd here! Only four brews in picture so why does it say 5 for 5 quid? Webmaster must have had a few before adding the offer to the Lidl website. I suspect it's FOUR bottles for a fiver which is 1.25 each but no way of telling. Can't make sense of it by converting price per 100ml either!
#6
I think it will be a mix of 5 bottles from the 4 brands shown
#7
There is only 4 Ales on offer but it is 5 for £5,

@ Bargainastic, Hobgoblin is definitely an ale :)

Can anyone tell where I might get some snow shoes from ?

I think it shows four bottles because those are the four beer types which are on offer.... Or is that too obvious ;)

Given it quite clearly says 5 for £5 I'd assume it's actually 5 for £5....

I'd suggest you stay away from Ronseal products.

Bottles are 500ml too, which makes this a cracking deal IMO

Definatly 5 for £5 I brought them yesterday. Cracking deal

So which of the beers did you get two of? Lidl are usually clear in their ads so I still think there's something wrong here. Are you sure you can count beyond four?

This is what i was thinking of, wasnt going mad just early!

You don't have to buy one of each, you can buy 5 of the same (_;)

they are £1.19 each, so it can't be 4 for £5 because that would work out at £1.25 each :{
#14
Exactly! At £1.25 it's nowhere near as good a deal as £1.00. I bought loads of Spitfire (10 cases) recently at £1.00 which really was a good deal!
#15
It is £1 each if you buy 5

or £1.19 each if you buy less than 5

Stocked up yesterday also using the £5 Mirror voucher against a £30 spend. Thank you to the person who posted this one. I nearly picked up a case which I think had 12 in, just need to make sure you buy an amount divisible by 5.

I'm surprised that this wasn't posted earlier and I didn't post it myself as I'd assumed it was given all the Lidl veg deals that get posted - apologies.

It started on Thursday which was the last day that the "£5 off a £30 spend" voucher was printed in the Mirror (though the vouchers remained valid for the 17th).

30 bottles (plus Mirror @45p but less voucher) < £1.70 per litre.

Repeat as required. Filled my boot (don't have two cars so only one boot to fill).

#27
i've got an even better deal,a lovely chocolate porter, asda have been selling old growler 3 for £4.00 for some time now,it's on the website at this price, and stores are supposed to sell at the same price, but after my many complaints the persist in not doing that,so my fellow hot dealers why not cause some mayhem at your local asda, and insist that you buy old growler at 3 bottles for £4.00

You are giving supermarkets too much credit for intelligence. I bought a curry at Tesco's which was clearly marked £5 or 2 for £12!

Back on topic, you are quite right. It is difficult for me to comprehend how anyone can fail to understand the deal as anything other than how you explained it.

Good beers as well. Full of flavour, which will make them unsuitable for the majority of customers, who only do 'bland'.

It really is VERY simple. Click on the LINK shows the FOUR bottles you can choose from. How/why is that so difficult to comprehend?

The clue is in the link......

I too was going to post this deal but I am not a MOD and obviously it would not get voted hot, I can't believe the heat of this deal for a 19p a bottle saving. I purchased 10 bottles last night with other goods and used 2 £5 off £30 spend Daily Mirror vouchers in separate transactions, this is the deal here the £5 off NOT 19p!
