On the topic of HDMI does anybody know how to stop tv turning over automatically when a PS3 is turned on? I have turned the function "control for HDMI" off but it still switches my TV over! Its a nightmare as PlayTV is forever switching the PS3 on which will switch the TV over!

why did you order 100 lol?

I didn't, but when something like this happens, someone always says something along those lines.

Just thought I'd be the first one to do it this time.
You usually get called an idiot 'cos people think that that sort of quantity will alert the people at the outlet and the orders all get canceled.
#30
LOL I blame the market seller who bought 100.
#31

Yep I know, didn't mention anything about quality.. I meant I hope they work at all. In total have about 8 HDMI cables in use around my house, most I paid was about £8 I think for a 10m cable, can't remember exactly as it was about 3 years ago... and never had one fail on me or give me any problems.
I thought I might have got a bad one once, but turned out to be the HDMI socket on my brother's sony tv... he'd only had it 2 weeks.
#35
Damn, can't believe I missed out on this! Could easily sell them for £1 a piece on eBay. (Although I know you guys won't like me saying that, haha.)

Eh, I bet they won't honour it anyway.

If you've turned off the control setting on the PS3 then it's the TV that's the "problem" - some of them are set to switch to new input source automatically, don't know if it can be turned off... if it can't be turned off by TV setting, then only thing you could do is disconnect the HDMI cable from either the TV or PS3 to stop it happening.
