This will be £27 from ASDA on release day

Pathetic

All this cold and no comments! Well im sorry samsyaman but this aint a good price. Goto shopto.net for cheaper! & maybe just maybe wait a little longer for an even better price. But on a plus side & in my opinion it is the game that is the most eagerly anticipated game of 2009!

Preorders rarely get heat on here unless they're below the regular price or include some decent extras...

There's no point preordering games now unless they come with custom hardware (or are on the DS, due to them using cartridges), seeing as they never really run out of stock on eagerly awaited games now a days...

Plus this isnt even out for 5 months yet...

Points taken, but not fond of the patronizing comments and insults.

Is this what you get for trying to help on this forum?

It's a shame the few spoil it for the many.

You must be joking, in a year that promises to contain Dragon Age, Starcraft II and Diablo III, yet another too-short call of duty game is unlikely to be top spot for many people's lists.

The single player mode may be short but if the multiplayer matches up to COD 4 it's right at the top of my list.

Well they did it last tiome and coined it in. These disks are worth a fiver at best so they dont need to charge £40. Its early but I bet I am right come release date. If not them some other store or online shop will do for similar price.

Just a hunch

To be honest... I'll eat my shorts if Asda sell this for £27 on release date.

The reason why I think this preorder is better than most is because amazon promise to drop the price should it drop by release date,

The bottom line is that this is a preorder.

This is the best preorder I have seen... and this forum is all about the best deal at present time.

It's good to see that somebody has found it £5 cheaper at preorder.

Anyone can argue that everything will get cheaper as time passes.

I haven't seen any of the critics here posting better preorder deals?

You should not say that co,s you really have to do what you say and I hope they are skid mark free another tip you should pre-soak them in brandy.

There is a very good chance that ASDA will do £27 price point if not it will be close.

No one was ever going to think £44 Pre order was a good deal

He is right though ? If He says the games are worth a fiver .That is a fair price.

I can't see the word production in his post can you ? I think you see things :lol

Or you assume people say things that you think.

I don't agree with hist first post about this deal though (well the £27 bit I do) but the other bit too mean.

No doubt you will now tell me about the true cost of a £40 title let me save you the trouble though as I understand

Development costs. (design, coding etc)

wages as above

advertising/marketing/distribution.

disc, case, mastering, copy protection, trademark, license fees, Ink, fuel.

£5 is still a fair price after all this when you multiply buy amount sold. Or offset by x-amount when game was sold at a higher price for those in real world inc me.

oh dear, another idiot. Just how many games of this calibre do you think would ever get produced if they sold them at his 'fair price' of a £5

answer :- only wii compilation games would ever come out.

nice to see you missed it again

Edit : Re-read you will see that I mean when it reaches £5 and that it is indeed a fair price. I never said when it gets released etc. see above that for cost of the £40 title..

I have a very good life thanks !!!

Yes you will see from other posts disks are actually worth £5. But yes, I know they want to charge £50 to make a huge profit. Not rocket science at all.

Its the mugs like you who will pay top whack so they keep bringing the costs out high every time. I am not paying more than £30 for this so will go to ASDA at £27 to collect.

Maybe you play online so I can kick your buuuutttttttttttttttttttt once I prove I am right again... ;-)
