Great find, I didn't know another collection was coming out. I have the No1 hits version, and have been trying in vain to find the original one, software only for 20 quid or less. This will do very nicely to get instead!
#2
is this at play ? they also had the pre order foe the 80s classics lips at same price

Wow I didn't even know an 80s one was coming out! I'm glad they're bringing them out a bit faster now - I used to have hundreds of tracks on SingStar.
#4
Some good party tunes on that one, can't find the tacklisting for the 80's one yet

if you already have any of these games can you not just add any tracks you like in mp3 format from your computer? this is the way i understood it, if thats the case you only need ever buy 1 version surely?
#9
strange that the 80's one isn't even listed on lips website yet ? anyone got another links to back up the release date for it? or could it just be a cause of play.com jumping on the rumours that were started earlier this month?

heat and rep left for the pre-order of party classics :)

yeah but that only allows you to sing the song, it doesn't show the lyrics or add any of the special mic features etc
#10
Can't find the tracklisting for the "Lips: I Love The 80s" anywhere and no information on the official LIPS website or on any website for that matter and yet PLAY clearly have the box artwork for the game. Strange eh!

Excellent! Thanks for that. Both ordered

i picked this up in Sainsburys with the mics for £20

i rang a store and they located one for me on their computer system

mind this was between Christmas and New Year but theres still a chance there are some floating around as they were in the store room, not on the shelf

mine was from Sainsburys Northallerton

Can you cancel the pre-order anytime before the release date? I would want to do that if another merchant offers a better price by then.

Thanks for that, but I can't get to anything but a couple of dinky Sainsburys that won't have it. This new collection looks great, though, and I already have two mics, so I'll be happy enough with the new one instead. :)

I assume that this is solus at this price?

Fab. Amazing songs (minus James Blunt of course) I will have to get this. I'll have to see about some mics though.

Yes, its a right pain having to swap out discs :x

It's not really. You always had to do that on SingStar too. It's either that or save them to the hard drive, and I'd rather keep it on the disc, for the whole 3 times a year that I crack this game out.

No really it is...you can save the disc to the hard dive but still have to swap out the discs for the relevant track. With the kids wanting to select different songs they are constantly ejecting and insertig discs which eventually will scratch. It's a shame there is not a solution for this.

Ordered - Hot! Cheers. :)

problem being no original videos, no lyrics on screen. no 6 medals to aim for. its not really rating your singing as you can just go HMMMMMMMM all the way and it will register it as singing.
