Under cutting by £25 is quite a lot. Very sceptical about the red!

Legal cover - They think it may disrupt the way your childs eyes grow. I read some Docs in the US had given it the okay. So prob just Ninty getting in there early with the legal disclaimer.

Is this a reliable retailer, and do they guarantee the price? I'd hate to order just to get a cancellation email shortly before delivery.
#10
It will be US stock as it's being sold over there for $250 from March 27th. I know where I will be picking up one from !!

was in game 2 days ago and the guy was trying to get me to pre-order, said they didn't have a price yet but would be about £170. why even give a price if you have no idea, glad i didn't order or i would be fuming now :(
#13
gamesbasement.co.uk are listing their price at £159.99 although they are not taking preorders at the moment

Folks in Europe can gets their hands on the device a few days earlier on March 25. Nintendo said European pricing will be set by retailers. HMV and GAME list the 3DS price at £229.99, while Play has it listed for £219.99

It's rubbish if the localisation thing is true. Part of the charm in owning handhelds is travelling, and not being able to buy games on the go is a bummer.
#18
Ripped off again. US get it for equivelant of 155 quid yet the greedy Brits can't even manage a sub 200 price.

Surely an error? That's like the same price as a DSi XL in some places.

That sucks! I imported Jump Ultimate Stars and Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan from Japan to play on my DS.
Immediate incentive for the development of R4 type devices.

Lifes 3D why bother!! iam begginig to hate all this 3d c*ap thats about now!! or is it just me?
#24
Huh, now this price is a lot better.

How reliable is this company? Also if I pre-order now, I'm assuming I won't have to pay out til it's dispatched, like other online retailers? (Bit low on funds at the minute)

Many thanks

seems this company has had bad reviews but hopefully other companies will lower their price for people wanting a 3DS. too expensive for me and not away to re-buy games just to get them in 3D

Register your interest only no pre order

I've ordered from them before, and I've never had a problem.
#29
There is no option to Pre Order

Think ill give it 6 months after release to see what reviews are like and give it enough time to have a decent 3D game line up.
#31
Already ordered from Zavvi incl a free case, though I've heard from some people it may be had cheaper with a case. I was fully expecting £250-260 so I'm surprised by this.

remember, nintendo have recommended that kids under 6 shouldnt use the 3d function

same applies to tv's as well and adults should use 3d stuff for not too long periods....hmm...me thinks this will kill 3d as a mainstream tv thing and used just for movies - i expect alot of denials and coverups given how much money has been invested!!
#34
Still too expensive.
How can an xbox be cheaper than a hand held?
#35
They can keep it not paying nearly £200 quid for a handheld, £100 quid is too much as it is...

Rather buy an Ipod touch for £170 and do far more with it and gaming too!

All 3D can intefere with childrens eye development apparently, I didn't know this myself until recently and in this age of Nannying it can't be all too bad or there would be more in the media about it Im sure.
Im not sure if this is a hot deal or not :s have we got an official price outside of Japan yet?
#38
omg great deal sooo hot<3
#39
How can anyone say if this deal is hot or not when the price hasn't been announced yet?
