not bad price but im sure they will bring out the extended editions of the trilogy 6 months later lol

I think this is a pointless box set. They should just release the extended verson's straight away.

Not saying this is a bad deal, just think its pointless

Don't do it. Wait for the Director's Cut. Cold from me.

I don't mind owning both sets of films on blu rays, extended and theatrical. I will have to buy it just to see what it's like. I just don't like the price. I won't pay more than £40.

Doesn't the extended versions contrain the theatrical versions?

LOL at least this movie is worth watching in the Blu-Ray version. Don't really see the point of watching Erin Brockovich in Blu-Ray (as posted last night)

How much money do you want to give these people?

This movie has made an absolute fortune for everyone involved so they should be selling it for pennies - feck 'em:p

So you guys are voting cold because of something that is not released yet ? LOL

When the extended versions come out, mind vote cold on them too cause the Hobbit wont be released at the same time lol, no wonder some of the voting here is embarassing sometimes.

the exended dvd sucked having to swap disc mid film, tho

I don't think so personally, I was glad that they did not ultra compress the video coding and split over two disks, I am happy to keep my dvds on an upscaling dvd player until the extended editions on blu ray are released and drop in price...give it a year when The Hobbit is out.

Cold!

Companies Double Dipping!

The extended versions won't be out for years.

They also add little to the films for someone who knows the book well enough. Can't think of any memorable scenes. Films are too long these days.

£15 for each film is pretty good on release date. However, as others have said I'm annoyed at how companies re-release so many different versions/editions of the same move. Just release the best version straight away. No messing about. Let us buy it and get on with it. lol

So the deal of 3 new blu-rays for £15 technically is "ok". No great, but ok.
However, I would advise against buying this just yet as a better version will be coming out maybe later this year. Which will then reduce this trilogy set to about £17.95 like with the other trilogy sets (Bourne, etc).

This price is not good at all.
