Anyone interested in this should keep in mind that the extra content is DLC downloaded via the PSN store using a code that can only be redeemed once - it's highly unlikely you'll receive a pre-owned copy with a valid code.
#3
Yep you may as well just buy the standard edition because none of the DLC will come with a used copy. So complete waste of time buying GOTY used :(

od didnt know at least you get a better cover lol X) and make small profit from cex

You'll probably lose money with the cost of getting to a CEX store. Plus i'd rather not talk to thier untrained monkeys they call sales assistants.

That and the fact that they will only take a sealed copy:

or just give you £6 which is the price they give for the original

If it were on the disk the developer would get paid once (the time its bought new) then the next 10 times it gets traded into CEX, they make nothing. with DLC the developer gets the money.

They released the first two DLC's on a disc, which was weird. I bought mine preowned and sold it on eBay for a slight profit after letting two friends install it, too. Presuming the person I bought it off bought it new, they lost out on at least four sales, and who knows what the guy I sold it to did with it.

tis a great game though

Ok price, but it's just the normal version. The DLC is not on the disc even though bizzarely, Gearbox has marked the GOTY discs with the GOTY moniker. You'd have to be VERY lucky to get a copy with the code still inside and unused. It could happen, but highly unlikely.

Brilliant game, but did it actually win ANY GOTY awards? I'm curious. I don't remember it winning anything. Which is a shame because it is easilly the best co-op FPS game ever made.

Buy a new copy, it's a fantastic game.

It is great, only bought it recently. One thing ruins it and that's if you play co-op with players higher ranked than you, makes the rest of the game easy and also causes some missions to glitch. I really hope we see a sequel.

This isn't a criticism, more a recommendation - play it with friends of the same level and love every minute ;)

I think it is a reasonable criticism, the game is great if you can play with someone the whole time so you keep at the same level but is problematic if people are much above or below your own level. They should have implemented a system where all the stats would be balanced so if you were lower level you'd do an increased percentage of attack damage and decreased percentage of damage take combined with a decreased amount of experience gained so a group of mixed players could play together without the lower ones power levelling and the higher level ones finding it too easy.

If you can get a decent co-op partner though I'd rate it as the best co-op game out.
