Just been in my local Game and noticed they're selling off a load of pre-owned games cheap as chips, as well as including them in a buy one get one half price promotion.

I only had a quick scan but the pick of the bunch was Crackdown (not classic) on 360 for £7.98 and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune on PS3 for £14.98.

Similar prices online but no BOGOHP promotion.

Great prices if you don't mind them being pre-owned!

I saw both games at this price as well but wasn't sure if they were still doing buy one get one half price. Did you verify, I couldn't be bothered.:?
I always worry about buying ice skating ring disks and get uncomfortable asking them to show me all available disks.

They were on the same stand as the BOGOHP so i would think so.

In that case I will assume that the lower price has superseded the original deal.

I bobbed into my local Game and they've crossed out the BOGOHP labels on anything with a reduced price (eg Crackdown). Checked with one of the guys and he said anything with the reduced price sticker would not be included in that other promotion.

Whenever I take a game to a shop, they check the disc's quality.

Why not do it in reverse? I once had a girl in a video shop go through around 5 or 6 Minority Report DVDs until we got one with no scratches on the discs.

"It's a present for someone", I said. So it had to be like new.

I look after my games/DVDs and don't sell them rubbish when I trade them in, so I don't expect coffee coasters or beer mats in return!

I'm exactly the same, i don't want to have to clean a brand new disc, risking scratching it in the process. I shouldn't have to anyway. Just thought they're good prices for the many people who aren't bothered about buying pre-owned games.

May as well expire this then mods ?.......
