How are they still getting away with 16gb and no Micro SD slot? 32gb should have been the base at the very least, cannot even update a 16gb device without plugging it into a PC.

Totally agree, 16gb is not worth a light I'm an iphone fan (not Apple) and have always gone for 32gb but I believe they've done away with 32gb and kept 16gb. Moneymaking in the extreme in my opinion and a Sony Is going to be my next phone.

Cold.. If i'm spending £515 i might as well pay the extra £24 and get a guaranteed brand new sealed phone with apple warranty as it is £539 online direct.

However I have one on contract :-)

Not a bad price when you consider that you could trade in a load of old tatt and get a phone for it, cex give reasonably good prices for stuff on trade, so it's all relative.

Strange shop, ventured in today first thing I noticed most customers had no teeth and there was a smell of stale cigarette smoke and smelt like the inside of an old tent,

Yes you can.... as long as you have a few gb free at the time.

However, I do agree that these days with apps getting bigger, 32gb should be the minimum, 64gb preferably. Considering the small differences in price between high quality branded memory of 16 and 64gb capacity really think that Apple are really really profiteering here. Of course, all the electronics companies do it to an extent but Apple seem to have a special way of getting away with it.

Yes, I agree. I have purchased pre-owned xbox games before, no problems and quite happy to spend a couple of quid on a game that originally cost the best part of £50 - I do burn the box it came in and then steam clean the disc though.

But most of my local shops clientele are 'dentally challenged' too. I would imagine the Jeremy Kyle green room has a similar vibe.

Peace on earth and goodwill to all and that....... :)

The reason they get away with it is because people will buy whatever they come up with

Funny how people always feel the need to pipe up with snarky comments. Just because the iPhone is expensive doesn't mean people shouldn't buy it. This is supposed to be about hot deals - IE, deals that save you a bit of money. Cex is a reputable high street brand (no matter what some might say) and offer a one year warranty on top of the warranty Apple will give in the event of mechanical breakdown. The 64GB is £595 too which is a £104 saving on the RRP.

If you don't like Apple stuff don't buy it; if someone posts a deal that saves people who DO want one a few quid, why make comments about storage space etc? Why say 'you can buy a Oneplus etc for half the price?' People don't want a bloody Oneplus: they want an iPhone - and that's who deals like this are for.

I own an LG G3 myself but I'd get a 64GB 6 Plus if I can afford it. I don't begrudge anyone who can. Phones are very personal things and just because you might think they don't offer enough storage as standard, don't offer enough value for money or don't have the specs you need, doesn't mean the same is true for other people.

Value is all relative.

Because this is HotUKDeals, where trolling against Apple is obviously far more important than the deal.
