Hi Guys

Don't know if any of you are interested but I found that Eric Clapton and The Police are headlining a concert at Hyde Park on 28th and 29th June.

If you register with live nation you can buy the pre sale tickets for this gig.

The tickets go on sale on 1st Feb but if you are a fan you can get them now. I have purchased two for my dad for fathers day he has always wanted to see Eric Clapton, he is very happy.

Anyway hope this helps someone.

Kelly x

Tickets are £50 for the day. Other packages are available but to expensive for me!!!

Amazing.

I remember going to see Eric Clapton in Hyde Park in 1969 (nearly 40 years ago) when he was a member of the group Blind Faith.

And that concert was free.

Bit more direction around the deal site if possible please - don't know what I am looking for with regard to these tickets.

Maybe it's an age thing as I have seen Clapton at the Albert Hall (circa 95/96) and Sting on his lonesome at the Kings Hall, Belfast circa (86/87). Still consider myself a youngster tho'.

Well I am only 58 and not quite a grandad (although will be by the end of February)

And I am younger than all the surviving member of Led Zeppelin (Robert Plant is 59, Jimmy Page is 64, John Paul Jones is 62)

Also younger than David Bowie (61), Paul McCartney (65), and even Eric Clapton, who is 62.

In fact Sting is 56 so not much older than him.

Sounds as though most of the band members are grandads as well !!
