I bought a pair from this site last year and they fitted better than the high street opticians pair. My husband bought a pair last week and saved quite a bit of money.

Great deal, very tempting but I think 3 pairs will have to do for now :(
#4
Thanks, heated and bought!

Great price. I've had quite a few pairs from them. Frame quality OK but not fantastic. Lenses seem fine. I like them as I'm pretty careless with glasses so like to buy a few pairs at a time.

I would advise anybody thinking of getting the rimless frames to upgrade to at least the polycarbonate (1.59 index).
The low (1.49) and mid (1.56) index lenses are very brittle compared to polycarb and higher index lenses (1.6,1.67 &1.74) so the glasses will have a higher tendency of cracking.
Semi and full rimmed frames are fine with the lower index. :)

Got some precription sunglasses last february from this site. All fine apart from the cashback which still hasn't tracked.

Actually delivery took ages too (good three weeks).

I asked the same question and I was told it was because my prescription is too high. I argued the case, but he said to choose the 40~% discount option and have thinner lenses. Fair point, but I still think that they don't make this clear on the home page

Thanks, found a set for £12.98 I like that look almost the same as the ones I bought from Asda for £80 or so, (which didn't include scratch resistant lenses). Will pop in and get a copy of my prescription tomorrow :)

Where are you reading this?

"Regular shipping is £ 4.99 for United Kingdom and Ireland."

Good price

Great for a simple prescription, but I have been very unimpressed with the more complex lenses they have made up for me.

I need glasses :(

I eventually managed to find the 'like' button :D

I'm actually short-sighted, but starting to feel like i'm in a film with things intentionally out of focus lol.

Thanks OP for the heads up - prescription just changed, so wanted to check out it was ok and not giving me a headache before shelling out an obscene amount of money for a pair of sunnies... :)

I'm like a zombiefied bat without my glasses. I make Mr Magoo look like he has 20/20 vision. When you get new glasses it's like some crazy drug you picked up off a hippy somewhere. It's amazing how you see things again. I still get (or got, as my eyesight aint got any worse over recent years) a trippy feeling wearing new specs for the first few days.

Thanks just ordered myself a cheap pair which look rather fetching =] between these and my Daysoft contacts I'll put my optician out of business yet!
#35
im wearing goggles4u glasses now, they've lasted me ages!

got the plastic lenses with them and they last longer than the glass ones

top quality site

yea I just had a eye test and they also measured what part of the glasses I look through, I think it matters for everything exp reading glasses, but not sure

Thanks, ordered... Ive got a really strong prescription though, so im not sure if they'll get it right, but at this price its worth a try.

Been using these people for years, used to be cheap... but the prices have really jumped up - that said, Ive just (literally 5 minutes ago !) ordered a pair for the mrs, turned out to be:

£72.38 inc delivery - for photo-chromatic - bifocals.... 200 quid plus in a shop !!!!!!

Yep, they were actually cheaper than this without discount codes. They've really hiked up the prices for lenses.

£12 for a pair of specs (I went for the £9.99 frames), can't be bad. Thanks.
