Spammed???

Who are you to spam (or criticize all of) my posts? I did not see this individually listed for this price, so I posted this, so people might benefit of this deal.
I might as well list everything of offeroftheday in a listing, so no-one else can post (according to you).
Forum needs to be (imho) carfull with people who are negative, it puts a lot of people of posting; I have recently seen quite a few new members who are almost slaughtered, surely they will refrain from posting in future.
I am a member on another forumboard, I hardly post there anymore as the forum seems to be open (or at least used to be) to a lot of criticism, consequently the forum has a lot less hits than it used to be.
If people are not attractive to a deal, don't comment or don't read it; there is a lot of post which do not interest me, I do however not vote cold or even criticize when a deal is not applicable to me.

well either way, any cheap one are made to through away once broke, if its a cheap one even worse, they tend to be from a foriegn country and dont make spares for them, depends on useage, if its for regular use idd op to spend more for quality purposes and future repairs

If I have commented negatively on your deals, it's because there's usually reason to! Perhaps if you'd spent 30 seconds doing a quick search for "+pressure +washer" you would have seen it. But obviously you couldn't be bothered. Don't start having a go at me just because I care whether this forum is full of duplicate deals or not and you couldn't care less. This site is what you make it - you clearly don't care what you post. I do.

It's only £20, mate. Karcher ones, which this isn't BTW, are vastly over-priced, although in my opinion are generally reliable.

I bought a nastly little blue pressure washer from Asda for £12.99 about 4 years ago. And guess what? That's right, it still works absolutely fine.

I think we can take it as given that a £20 washer will not be as reliable or as servicable as a £200 washer, but for the general user of one of these I think this will represent a decent bargain.

Plus, after a quick check on the net, I can't find a pressure washer which is cheaper. Or yellower.

So, voted hot! Thanks to the OP for posting this and don't let the naysayers get you down!

Sadly, this washer isn't any use to me since my little 4 year-old £12.99 one is still pushing water plenty good.

I just did a "+pressure +washer" search and it didn't show up in the 3 pages of results. Do you have any constructive tips on finding items hidden on the 3rd or 4th page of a thread?

Like your attitude, making assumptions without knowing for sure if I do a search or not. FYI, I do an advanced search for all posts I make, surely I can post something which was previously listed (weeks ago) which is now much cheaper. Besides, first you comment that it is listed in the 'all Woolworths reductions' posting, now you comment on a possible duplicate which I dispute. If I am wrong, I am sure the mods will revert, I do not need your negative feedback.
If you have a proper search for all my post,s you can see that I do not list a lot of rubbish; let me know if you think different and I refrain from posting in future to suit your needs.
Again, it comes down to people criticizing posts even if these post are in no way apllicable to them - please relax a bit and try to keep this a friendly forum for all.

So you did an Advanced Search for "+pressure +washer" and yet despite it being the FIRST result that comes up (as displayed in the post above this one) you didn't see it? Yeah. Right.

In all fairness, rizla01 did point this out first - and quite explicitly in the post.

However, it was under the pretty large banner of "Woolworths Deals", which I kind of just glossed over. So, it still seems valid to me that it has been listed separately, especially if it was just a genuinely reported deal. Before I post anything, I do a search to make sure it hasn't been posted recently - and if I'd done it for this deal then it wouldn't have come up, so fair game for the OP on this one.

Well judging by how hot that deal got, most people didn't "gloss over" it. And it would have come up if you'd searched, as I've pointed out above. :) The general search facility isn't amazing, but it works extremely well if you take 30 seconds to use it in the right way.

Some of us are checking these deals out at work and don't have the luxury of time to go through large posts. Sometimes information has to be presented in a more concise and direct form for it to be more useful.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating. I missed the deal when it was in the original post, as did the OP, and I didn't miss it when reposted. So, for me, that's a valid post.

And the OP not spotting the original deal whilst using even the advanced search isn't something that you should jump down his throat about. Easy done.

No probs BD but thanks for your support.

Looks like they've pulled my thread anyhow (For whatever reason THEY don't feel the need to tell me so as to prevent me breaking the rules again) so individual postings must be preferred.

I must say that I dont always find the 'search' mechanism totally successful but that's probably down to me.

Perhaps Olavs is as thick as me.:whistling:

Be happy all.:-D:-D

(BTW Olavs - I assume you are referring to MSE and that is a lot worse than HDUK for personal attacks.)

So, not very constructive at all. Perhaps everyone should spend 30 minutes checking every post before submitting a deal in case it's already posted.

You see, this is the sort of attitude that annoys me. It does not take 30 minutes to do a search, it takes 30 seconds. But people are too lazy to do it, that's the simple truth. And they're unwilling to even try. So then when someone like me comes along and says it's been posted before, I get the **** thrown at me, rather than the person who is too lazy to spend 30 seconds searching.

Ridiculous that the thread has gone. I wonder if enough morons hit "spam" that it automatically went? I've started a thread in Feedback anyway, hope you don't mind. :-D

Get a life!

Oh - and voted hot. Bought a cheapo pressure washer (around £12) from Woolworths over a year ago and it still works fine. Saved a fortune in car-wash charges.
