  absolutely agree..
  1. Saves hell lot of fuel.
  2.Can be used for steaming various types of items using adapter.
  2. Very good to cook indian style curries and beef..

  1. Not sure if it has a washer type thing.. which goes bad in an year.

  The handles are a bit on the cheap/tacky side unfortunately. I have 2 Prestige pressure cookers - about 15 years old & they are absolutely solid, but they simply dont make them like they used to

  Someone always comes out with the 'dont use soft aluminium cookware' when these things are on HUKD! Information link below...

  I think its fine...plus if you are really worried about it, remember never to eat out again as most commercial kitchens use giant 'soft aluminium' pots to cook large scale quantities.......

  When i was a kid used to love pulling the heavy weight off the lid early..the steam looked just like the rockets from Space 1999! X) And never got it wrong (no food on the ceiling).

  I quite fancy a pressure cooker, never used one though. The reviews on this one are somewhat poor though so I won't be buying this one.
