bargain, they recently had a pan on sale for £5 (can't remember the size), picked one up then, decent quality pan

i noticed the handles are metal, wont these get warm? pardon my ignorance and are these any good? thanks

Am curious too as need a frying pand for cooking eggs and halls skinless sausages - hate frying food and need one that makes it as easy as possible for me!

I have one of these pans, very good quality for the price i haven't noticet the handle get hot but i haven't really cooked anything on medium/high for a long amount of time, mainly eggs etc. still even if they do just use a tea towel to grab them with. I'm pretty sure the handles would get hot if you use them for hob to oven cooking.

I see these are so cheaply made they have rivet heads on the inside - doesn't food stick to them and make it difficult to run a spatula round the pans?

I bought the £5 a couple of weeks ago, think its the middle one of the three. Excellent pan and the handles dont get warm at all, i have fried allsorts in them and made spag bol etc no problem handles stay cool. . .

Don't think it'll get warm. The surface area between the pan itself to the handle isn't big enough for a great magnitude of heat transfer. Perhaps if you left it on for a VERY long time, in a hot environment it might get hot. Otherwise, the rather large surface area of the handle would allow it to dissipate heat sufficiently to the atmosphere.

Bought one of these (the one posted before, relatively small) and confirmed that it doesn't get hot. Seems to be a pretty decent build as well :)

even expensive pans have rivets.

easy to run a spatula aroud as the rivet position is high up

OK- none of the decent pans I've come across have rivet heads on the inside.

these pans are gr8...I managed to grab the deal for £5 and I use it nearly everyday.
#18
nice spot, voted hot.

Are they heavy at all?
I don't like pans that are too heavy.

I have reserved for collection 2mor, for the price it should be fine with the reviews here. Thanks OP
