Not the best tablet in the world, but for the price you can't really complain, especially as it should have full Office Home and Student 2013 as well. It is marked on the box and a code on a bit of card in the box.

I got the white/silver one last time this was on offer from here.I did not like Windows 10 so I reverted back to Windows 8.1.The 32Gb ssd is fairly full and quite slow,I upgraded to a 128Gb ssd and it is so much better.I used this one:Your text here.Any type 2242 M2 ssd should fit though.Open the case from the bottom edge then using a credit card to release the plastic catches that run round the outside. My unit was also brand new in the box and had no Windows updates installed so be prepared to wait quite a long time for all updates to download and install.

Thanks OP.

I researched pre-hand and when it came to pulling the trigger, just OOS. Not a lot information about this one online unfortunately, only 4 youtube videos of which one is english!

compared to similarly priced Atom Z3735 based tabs, this Celeron N2806 only has 2 cores vs 4, and yet consumes slightly more power. so less performance and less battery life. good price though, I would just go with an Atom over this
#23
i have asus t100. wonder how this processor is vs atom in that for steam play and battery life. hot from me.
#24
How do you know it is the Prestigio Visconte 2 model? Real bargain if that is what shows up :-)
I notice Maplin are also selling a refurb Visconte 2 for £103.

I can see the overview description is for the Visconte 2, but it is the same for all the model options.

After debating on an earlier thread about getting something similar, I ended up getting a irulu windows tablet on amazon. They are about £50 or £40 if you want android.
Great bit of kit if you don't expect the world from it. But it is full windows 10, I just take mine out of tablet mode.
#28
Picked up the android one thanks. Heat added.

There are photos (front & back) of each model option.

I got this last time it was here and was pleasantly surprised. Upgrading to Win 10 just needs a micro SD card - I used a 64Gb. I quite like it for occasional use - it has USB3 and HDMI out.

Wish they had more stock :(

USB3 on a £40 tablet? I'm afraid not. the best you will get is flaky USB2 OTG

Call me cynical, but ...

These are 'Refurbished' Items?, wouldn't these have been either already used?, and/or nicked already?, or ..... (just curious?) lol. :-)

Thanks op!

If anyone is going to sell this to cex then your best of downgrading it to windows 8! They pay 42 for windows 10 and 47 for windows 8!

The silver/ white Windows 8 version (Visconte 1) they were also selling for £40 has USB 3.0.

Just for anyone thinking of doing the same to their Visconte 2 - I just opened mine and there's no M.2 SSD unfortunately (storage is a soldered-on Kingston chip).

It is not Office 365, so used shouldn't really be an issue. As for being removed, possibly, however most of us who ordered this last time it was available got the Office card in the box, I didn't hear of anyone who didn't but there may have been some missing.

.Your text here. This might be helpful, for some.Tablet is fairly old,a little slow perhaps but good screen quality, well worth £40.00.

Do you or anyone else have a link to the step by step instructions on how to update this to windows 10?
