As one of Britain's most recognisable politicians, John Prescott seemed to thrive on his love-him-or-loathe-him image. Whether playing croquet on the lawns of his grace-and-favour mansion, cheating on his wife or punching a heckler, Prezza's political life was lived in the headlines. This honest and often painfully funny memoir deals frankly with his mistakes, but also tells the story of an 11-plus failure who went on to be Britain's longest-serving deputy prime minister, who helped Labour get back into power, worked with Al Gore on climate change and kept the peace between Blair and Brown. This is a political journey like no other.

A great respresentative of the United Kingdom.....:w00t:

This fat tosseaur was never fit for public office, the best thing I can hope for him is like the Upperclass Twit of the Year Awars on Monty Python where on of the contestants runs over himself in his car...I really hope this happens to "John will be John" 2 Jags(Jabs) Prescott with opne of his Jags.

Fat overpaid, overstuffed, cheating lying thug.

Rant over heat not added :p :santa:

Kyoto , but technically that was for the world so doesnt really count, much more fun just to poke fun at his weight though that's what matter most in UK how good you look
£2 is a bargain and you wont be lining Johns pocket as he already got paid for it , the book will never make a profit anyway as there is dead space to play on ps3 why read a book ? so john is already quids in :)

Hot and rep added. Rate the deal not the product. If you want this book it's a bargain.

I think £2 for a hardback book is a bargain.
I'm sure there would still be tidbits of information to be gleaned from the book of someone in such a prominent public role. At the very least, if you can't stand the guy there could be value in 'knowing thine enemy'

ps Isn't John Prescott also the UK delegate for PACE http://assembly.coe.int/ - a fairly worthy cause I would say and one which he does volountarily. ;-)
