Thanks to scotty0036 for posting the DSTT earlier.
I think that this card is worth paying the extra few pounds for.

This card allows you to play "Home brew" games on your Nintendo DS, and DS lite.
You can also listen to MP3 songs, and watch films.

It is compatible with SDHC Micro SD cards, so you can easily have 100 games on a single 4gb micro SD card.

If buying 3 or more, add BULKRATE in the voucher box to get a litlle discount.

Dealextreme are based in China.

Dealextreme can range from being extremely quick for orders, to extremely slow.
I have ordered things, and received them less than a week later, and other things have taken months.

No cashback available from Deal Extreme as far as I know.

Dealextreme accept payment by Paypal.

You can get a 2GB Kingston Micro-SD card from DealExtreme for $12.79 or less (about £6.50). Might be worthwhile if you're ordering a DS cart anyway:

Thanks for that, whenever I've looked at Micro SD cards that they've bundled, they have charged a premium for them.

The Kingston MicroSD ones on DealExtreme are Japan versions (faster/better). Dont mistake them for the cheaper Kingston version (china I think). Cheapest 2Gb Kingson (Japan) I found was at Scan for £6.40. Also, SanDisk are good but not as good as Kingston(Japan) or Toshiba MicroSD cards for these DS devices. I'll hunt down the compatibility/review link and show the difference. Certain games have problems with the slower MicroSD cards (not many though).

I've 4 of these on the way, 3 for my kids and one for my dad. They look to be as good as the R4 and the real-time cheat function looks a great option. I got 4gb Sandisk sdhc cards from Play for these a while back for £16.99 each so that should do them for a while.

Thanks for that info, Rep added.
I will update the 1st reply in a while to add that in.

I use a sandisk card in a DSTT, and haven't had any compatibility issues yet.

I will add that as well, for some reason, you can't direct link in the original OP.

paypal tells me would be 18.27 delivered so afaik this could/would be hit by customs?
could be another ~60% in real terms if so?

No need to worry - I've ordered loads of items from them in the past and have never paid any tax - and that includes a phone costing $180. Their tax declaration on the parcel always has a value of about £2.50 regardless of the 'actual' cost. :)

Supercard one is great for homebrew developers like myself.
Makes running your own code much easier than some of the other options out there.

However, I am dead against using it for playing copied games so I haven't got a clue how well it does that.

Hi, could you tell me what "Homebrew" actualy is?

I have looked at the files, and they don't seem to say what they do.
Is there an "Idiots guide" that you can point me to so that I can have a look.?
#13
You can get it marked as a present for $0.01 which allows up to twenty something pound. Also, they dont put the price on anything so you should be ok.

Homebrew is people making there own games/emulators for the DS (and other handhelds/consoles). You need a device like this to do it.

re - the saint - think you can get free delivery at scan from being a member at certain forums (AVforums being one I think)

Been wanting one of these for a while and decided to go for this one - here's hoping I get to be one of the happy customers of DX !

Thanks, I am a member of AV forums, will have to go and check it out. :)

I received mine this morning, but I ordered them weeks ago, so they are definitely sorting out the back ordered ones. :)

my status has changed to packaging - so here's hoping its not a DX false positive ?!

Anyone that orders a few things from dealextreme, make sure you join their DX points program.

It would take a while to get anything worthwhile, but it's free.

They seem to back date your points, as I just joined, and they've credited my points from previous purchases.

How does this compare to the M3 real, the edge, DSTT cards? why is this one better - I don't envisage using it for homebrew that much.

Can I use this card to convert my DS into a MP3 player or do I need something different?

Also if I buy 2 cards will DX ship them out seperately to avoid customs or together?

I can only compare it to the DSTT.

The DSTT is easier to use, but I prefer the SC because it feels more solidly built.

The SC has a horrible interface, the scroll button is really thin, and I end up selecting a game accidentally, this happens 50% of the time.

I never had this problem with my DSTT.
You can put the interface from the DSTT onto the SC. I shall try that when I am more comfortable with messing around with these sort of things.

You can put Moonshell on both cards, I never managed it with my DSTT during the 2 months or so that I had it. I had it running within minutes on my SC.

I can now play MP3's, and view jpg's.
It can do other things, but I have not tried it yet.

DX will not ship them separately. You would have to make separate orders.
Delivery is free anyway.

I have never bothered with tracking numbers, as they are unreliable.

You won't have to sign for the package, so I don't think that the tracking number means anything.

I would expect your item to be delivered this week. I have ordered from them numerous times, and once shipped they have never taken longer than 2 weeks to be delivered.

The ones that I ordered on the day I created this deal have just been delivered by my postman. :)
