We go to the Balearics every year in October, it is a great time to go, the sea is still warm from the summer and whilst the resorts are quiet there is always more than enough for an enjoyable holiday :)

This was Majorca late last October....

Heyyyy sunshinestacey could you please find a good deal for Malia for 5 people for the 12th of August or around then as you find superb deals ......

Hi Stacey the deals that you find are amazing. I want to go on holiday with a mate on July 31st or 1st week of August. Could you help. Any cheap break to Ibiza etc for 5/7 nights

Depends when in Oct too. Last year was great late Oct (our half-term week is usually the very last week of Oct), but the year before was cold and miserable. The year before that was a mixed bag! If you want guaranteed heat and sunshine in Oct you really need to be looking at the Canaries or Egypt. Or Cyprus, Costa Del Sol & The Algarve, the more southerly Greek islands and southerly Turkey are a pretty safe bet but not a dead cert. Or take your chances and pick a bargain for mainland spain or the Balaerics and see how it goes - we've had about a 50% success rate!!

Flights are great prices but inflated hotel prices due to school holidays.

But heat for flights

What taxes are extra then?

Looked at Exeter and Bristol (I live in Exeter), flights go out before the children break up on the 25th July, which is a pity.

Great price, horrid flight times. Heat added for the find.

Hi all,

Advice needed please, thinking of going to Majorca in early September (2 adults + child), HB accommodation or above (if price is right). My question is should we book relatively early (now) or leave it until August for September deals (for hotels: Viva Can Picafort or Son Baulo). I had already look at Thomson website and the prices are still quite high for 1st and 2nd week of Sept .

This is our first time to go on a package holiday to Spain and BHX is our preferred airport. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi All,

Can any body recommend somewhere to go at the end of August? We really don't mind where as long as its hot and can travel from Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham E. Midlands and London, the only thing we are strict on is leaving on the 23rd or 24th of August and would rather go All Inclusive.

Might be worth asking a travel agent rather than random people on the Internet.
