Just nipped for a few groceries burton on trent asda
picked a tray up scanned at 38p lol

till could've picked up a single tin bar code tbh i'm just glad it only charged me 38p
could be a glitch i wasn't going to hang around when i saw what was charged for 12 tins
They were all sealed and still are.. in plastic covering
just thought somebody else might benefit..defo worth a try good luck

barcode is big enough as you can see by pic but the recipt shows last number as an 8 not 5
i know she ran the scanner over the top where the barcode was so perhaps its just scanned
wrong hope it works for you lol

link dont work for me but did you put them on the scales or skip bagging ?

If you suspect that the till is only scanning an individual item, when you know it is supposed to scan for multiple items, then this is not a deal, you are just taking advantage of self-service machines.

i didn't go to self service it was scanned by checkout operative

If you dont want to risk getting chased around the aisles by a big burly store detective then Iceland do 3 for £1 so you could get 9 for £3 or 21 for £7 or 54 cans for £18 .

OK well it seems you just got yourself a good deal thanks to the checkout operative, afraid most people would opt for self serve and try this knowing that really, they shouldn't.

I don't see anything wrong in it, I will try my luck tomorrow and see if i can get them at that price.WHY NOT??????

I think your forgetting these at full price are cheaper than iceland
