yeap, Primark's having a big sale now. I dont know how they can have such cheap stuffs like that, but it looks quite good. Lots of 1-pound rails you can find in Primark, along with some 3 or 4 pounds. Especially, the cashmere jumper are reduced to 10pounds from 25 pounds. quite good deal, coz I love cashmere.

I know where Im going tomorrow!!
HOT!!!

went to oxford store and eastbourne, both have tons of reduced items! I got 3 dresses for a total of £3 that were originally £8-£10 each! Stocked up on shed loads of shorts and tops all at £1 each too.... very handy for my 2 weeks in the sun next month!
#12
Here's a tip - my daughter bought a sun dress for a pound. It was a bit see through so I suggested she just bought another identical one and wear the two together! At these prices it's no hardship and looks great!

Welcome to HUKD peanutsalted and treaclebob :)

Thanks - this is a super site. I've already had a brand new microwave for £22.50 and a printer/scanner/photocopier for £34.99 by following up deals! Keep up the good work.

They are meant to be from size 6 - 20 i think, but their sizes are totally messed up......sometimes a size 16-18 looks tiny, so i would deffo take a few sizes into the changing rooms

I still can't understand why there is no Primark in Milton Keynes :-( I have been to the ones in N'hampton, B'ham, M'boro and I love it! This is just torture lol
#19
I was in the Manchester branch at the weekend & there were loads of £1 bargains to be had, I spent £30 & got lots of things for my hols tommorow!

:-)
#20
confirmed at swansea primark...loads of 1£ stuff
#21
They do often have rails like this but only one or two. Is it more than just a few rails?
#22
Saw the Plymouth one a week or so ago and it had loads of £1 rails.

The stuff is so cheap anyway that it's easier to get rid of it at £1 than keep it on the shelves I think!

They're about as ethical as anyone else on the high street...
#23
primark officially the most unethical shop in the world!
#24
Ethics aside I've already arranged a shopping trip there tomorrow before knowing about the sale Good timing for my glamorous weekend in Rhyl!
#25
Indeed, I'm not risking Birmingham Primark during School Hols, sale or no sale! Lil Sis will though, and we're the same size... :) thanks for letting us know!

Don't agree. There are far more overpriced stores that don't consider their ethics either. IMO Primark are no different to many others.

Why is it that when cheaper stuff become available to the masses - someone always appears to pour cold water on it...Ryanair...Primark.

Great deal, will be there tomorrow.

This is HUKD, not philosophers corner. You could apply the same principle to the majority of deals on here either because of envionmental / ethical grounds. If you don't agree withthe deal, don't buy. Just don't bore us with your opinions on why YOU don't want it.

true...whats wrong if they get rid of stocks...
i know this uni where they sold off old computers to the students for one pound...moniter, cpu, mouse, keyboard all included...cause its much more costly to dispose electrical waste...

I love primark, being a student and having just got a house with my partner money is tight, but primark means I can still have new clothes!

Some of the stuff isnt too great and doesn't last that long, but for a couple of quid who cares?

In fact most of my stuff is still going strong and I haven't had any probs, the only thing we've found problems with is the mens polo shirts, which shrank to crop top size after 1 or 2 washes! I stocked up on the M&S ones for £5 each for my guy though and threw the primark ones away, cos he wears them for work and I can't send him in with his belly hanging out! lol.

I was in the Cheltenham store last Friday and didn't see any £1 rails though? But they do have some of the warmer winter stock in now, so maybe the sale has finished.

I dont go in primark that oftern but couldnt resist the 1 sale - got some cool stuff for the kids and spent 8.00 - the only thing you have to be carefull of is the sizing as the tops come up too small and the bottems come up way too large - but its great as the kids grow sooo fast - good luck everyone else hope you got some good bargains too.

These clothes are sold cheaper as they are last season. This is why.
