Primark towel set for £2.00!!

Hi,

I was at the big Primark store in Oxford Street, London, today. They had towel sets on offer for £2 (were £5 before). These sets contained 2 big bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 facecloths. Great price if you're looking for some extra towels. There were cream sets and mixed pink and white sets.

They were stocking the items all the time, on the ground floor and also on the second floor. So, hopefully plenty left for people who want to buy the set.

I love these cheap as chips items. But every time I post these deals some bleeding heart starts a vendetta in support of people who have to work in sweat shops to provide the cheap goods us Westerners demand.
#5
maybe belfast might suit you better they have them there as well happy shopping

Was this serious? Because it's the most stupid thing I've heard all day.

it hardly makes you a 'bleeding heart' to find the exploitation of poor people abhorrent. You fund their misery and you 'love these cheap as chips items' I hope you sleep well at night

I agree. If you have nothing positive to say......then don't say it! Many thanks to OP!

Serious Mascherano, rather than vent your frustration here, why not start a sanitised version of HUKdeals - Kosher, Organic, Free Range, Halal, Third World Friendly, Sustainaable and equitable. That's really not pulling your leg, but really a business proposal. ;-)

There we go it didn't take long for the Care Bears to get on board. You make these comments without any research into the products being commented on. I suspect that there is a gang of Care Bears that have to spring to the defence of everybody and everything. Usually people that have enough money to make informed choices; unlike the majority of us who have to make do with the very cheapest of options, however, it is produced.

Right oh Liverpool one (fellow Red so easy to spot) I always wonder if you would rather have them earning pennies and maybe keeping a family afloat, or close the lot down and no income at all and therefore family goes under.

Exploitation it may be but if it puts food on the table ......!!??

can't really understand all the arguing over some cheap towels:x

please dont make out that you're the victim here. Try and justify it however you want, but buying cheap goods like this funds other peoples misery- but its easy to live with if these people are hundreds of miles away and we all know that their lives are not as important as ours.

They got them in liverpool too

Im new to all this, but im wondering how some cheap towels can spark such a debate?!?!
Arent there other sites to discuss stuff like that? Like many others, im sure, i search this site for some 'HOT DEALS'!!!!!

Im not saying i agree or disagree with your point, but surely this isnt the site to discuss it?!?!?

Great deal-need some new ones myself
