All six episodes from the first season of the dinosaur adventure series starring Douglas Henshall as evolutionary zoologist Nick Cutter, who discovers prehistoric creatures alive and well in the present day. Needless to say, the natural world is turned on its head and humanity faces a threat to its very existence. Unexplained anomalies are ripping holes in the fabric of time, allowing creatures from the very earliest stages of Earth's development to roam the modern world, and Cutter and his team struggle to keep the looming disaster secret while dealing with savage dinosaurs and other deadly foes. Cutter also has to deal with a deeply personal dilemma - he discovers that his wife Helen (Juliet Aubrey), missing believed dead for eight years, has actually been travelling in the past. Now she is back with possible answers to the riddle of the anomalies - but is it an answer she is willing to share?

shame this is such a poor show
Loved this show and was really disappointed when they cancelled it.
Didn't you hear that it got renewed? From Wikipedia:

"On 29 September 2009, it was announced that a deal had been struck between ITV, Watch, Impossible Pictures, German broadcaster Pro7 and BBC Worldwide to produce two new series of the show for transmission in 2011[2].

The first of the two new series will start airing in January 2011 on ITV1. Series 5 is currently being filmed and will air later in 2011 on Watch then will be shown on ITV1 in 2012."
I liked the first series but it became REALLY ridiculous with almost all the main chaarcters leaving and creatures like gremlins, plus those ridiculous 'gorillas' from the future that were either unstoppable killing machines or just easily avoidable depending on which character they threatened.

I thought BBC America had revived this show, as it's popular outside the UK.
