Doubtful it will be same price in store, they usually mark up by at least a couple of quid. Though I wound't mind betting it's still 29.99 in London.

but the game is short
i could beat it in one playthrough and apparantley there isn't much replayibility
which is why i am looking towards the wii version which seems better in most aspects and is longer but no-one on HUKD seems to own the wii version hence, i can't decide

Waiting for £15? You'd rather hang for weeks ./ months for a possible reduction rather than cough up less than £2 extra to play it now??

Oh, well...each to his own and all that.....:whistling:

Check www.Eurogamer.net they review each one and the Wii version comes off a little better, and scores points for making more of an effort.

I sold this last week for £19.50 on eBay. This deal is smoking.
#19
bargain for a month old game, i just hope its not going the dark void route.
#20
I hope its going the Dark Void route in terms of price! Picked that up for a fiver from play.com a few days ago

I have read into all sorts of reviews, and in almost all cases the Wii version comes out on top. However, it's not that they're different versions of the same game (unlike the title would suggest), they're entirely different games. So if you're a POP fan and own multiple systems, get both ^^

8/10 game definitely. The plat forming elements are amazingly innovative and brilliantly designed. The combat is not that deep but pretty fun, story sucks, grafix are 7/10 but overall its worth £17.99
#23
Reckon instore would price match online price ?
#24
just checked instore and it's £29.99 - no price match.

It's a different company they say (their online business)

Actually it's a better deal instore here - it's £20 in the sale but you get an 800 points Live card on the 360 or a Clash of the titans game on the PS3. I bought the 360 version and it was a standard 800 points box I was given at the till when buying the game.

Hey, what's this deal with 800 points? Am thinking of getting this instore tomorrow for £20, saw it at the sale price the other day. But what's this business involving 800 microsoft points? Thanks!

At the HMV store here, all the copies of the game have a sticker across the bottom right (just the thin type that HMV use frequently) that says 800 points free with this game. On the PS3 version there's a similar sticker but with Clash of the Titans apparently free instead of the Live points. I took the game to the cashpoint and they just took a standard 800 points pack from the shelf behind them and gave me it and the game for £20. May be an error with my local store although they still have them stickered up as of last weekend a few days after I bought mine.

Ah, ace thanks! Which store was that? I'll head into a Nottingham one tomorrow and try my luck! Thanks for the info, I'll sort you some rep!

Inverness - to be honest as no-one else has confirmed it and one person hasn't been able to get it, I wouldn't go in specially for it in case it is just a mistake at my local store.

Well my store said it was 29.99 take it or leave it (as opposed to price matching with HMV online)
