Brilliant price. Works out even cheaper when used with Walkers 10% code and quidco!

Something tells me it won't be for at least a year. Look at the God of War Collection. That came out here in April I think and the cheapest you can get it is £17 I think. It's been out since September last year in the US

Funny how people buy next hen consoles then play crappy ps2 games on them , was ok in it's day but even in HD it still looks like a bag of crap

Bought this for £17.99 about two weeks ago - at least I can play it on christmas day!

Yes, because:

People only play PS2 games on their PS3s
Graphics are the only thing that make a game good
All games from the PS2 era now look like a 'bag of crap'.

Riiiiight...

I think Sony's started this whole PS2 collection thing and are promoting that it's 2/3 games in HD with trophies on 1 Blu-Ray disc. It'd make Microsoft look kind of crappy with their DVDs when they'd have to use 2/3 discs for the "collection" while PS3 had it on just 1 disc. Also, Sony probably got some copyright or patent or some kind of thing to stop MS from doing it. They always do these things to each other

Sony have a killer app here - whole game trilogies on one disc! Seriously, I always wanted to play the Sly Games, but bought Jak and Ratchets instead.

I am sure that a newcomer to gaming would love these collections. I myself bought the POP collection on PS3 after selling it on PS2 for around £5 more. Sold POP for £22 and got it so much cheaper on one disc, and actually able to play it without my eyes bleeding after seeing it on my HDTV.

If you look at games like Gears of War on 360, it is only around 6 GB as a download. PS3 could provide the whole trilogy on a single disc! At the end of the day, PS3 will be better value because of this bluray weapon it so wisely chose amidst so much criticism (particularly from M$ who said HDDVD was better, but now claim physical media = dead...).

From a PC gamer point of view I find HD re-releases hilarious. Cramming old games on to a Blu-ray is not clever.
I bet they only run at 720p yet everyone screams like a banshee if a TV deal is not 1080p.
