Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time: Amidst the scorched sands of ancient Persia, there is a legend spun in an ancient tongue. It speaks of a time borne by blood and ruled by deceit. It is within this war torn land that a young Prince discovers a magic dagger. Drawn to its dark powers, he is led to unleash a deadly evil upon the reaches of his father's vast kingdom. Aided by the wiles of a seductive princess and the absolute powers of the Sands of Time, the Prince stages a harrowing quest to reclaim the Palace's cursed chambers, and restore peace to the very fabric of Time itself. He must tread these dangers carefully, however. Because in this world, there is only one rule: master the Sands, or be buried.

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within: Enter the dark underworld of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, the sword-slashing sequel to the critically acclaimed Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Hunted by Dahaka, an immortal incarnation of Fate seeking divine retribution, the Prince embarks upon a path of both carnage and mystery to defy his preordained death. His journey leads to the infernal core of a cursed island stronghold harboring mankind's greatest fears. Only through grim resolve, bitter defiance and the mastery of deadly new combat arts can the Prince rise to a new level of warriorship - and emerge from this ultimate trial with his life.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones: The Prince of Persia makes his way home to Babylon, along with Kaileena, the enigmatic Empress of Time, and unspeakable scars from the Island of Time. But instead of the peace he longs for, he finds his kingdom ravaged by war and Kaileena the target of a brutal plot. When she is kidnapped, the Prince tracks her to the Palace - only to see her murdered by a powerful enemy. Her death unleashes the Sands of Time, which strike the Prince and threaten to destroy everything he holds dear. Cast to the streets, hunted as a fugitive, the Prince soon discovers that the Sands have tainted him, too. They have given rise to a deadly Dark Prince, whose spirit gradually possesses him...

tempted! is this game any good?

all 3 of them are quite possibly the best platforming games ever released.
for £10, trophies and 3d support are an absolute steal.

I got mine for £9.99 from somewhere a couple of months ago. Nearly bought it again today at this price until I remembered to check.

tempted! is this game any good?

Very cheap, so hot, but it's not the greatest collection. The games don't really stand the test of time in terms of gameplay and camera, especially when compared to the new POP games. I remember playing all of them on PS2, but they felt like a chore to play on PS3 for some reason. Plus the trophies are ridiculous, like you have to finish each game on all difficulties, you can't just play on hard mode and get all the lower difficulties etc.

I've had it for a few months now, and only managed to finish one of the games, got bored after that. I'd recommend other collections over this, but if you're a fan of POP, it's good at this price.

Agreed about the trophies, what a stupid idea that was!!!!

Sands of Time I really enjoyed. Warrior Within was a terrible game but somehow i managed to play long enough to finish it. Two Thrones i think i played for about an hour, turned it off and have never had the disc back in the ps3 again.

Heat added for the deal but my honest assessment is that these games should have been left in the past..

I guess the Sly Cooper collection is better then?

I guess the Sly Cooper collection is better than?

Yeah that is definitely better, and it's pretty long too. Plus you get some new mini-games if you've got a PlayStation Move controller. There's a couple of good collections coming soon; Ico and Shadow of The Colossus collection coming in September, and the Metal Gear Solid collection coming in November.

Would be nice if their website actually worked, or have virgin blocked it :)

Edit: Well it's not working on my mobile either, so must be a problem on Play's end :(, maybe the POP offer is a misprice!

I'm enjoying Peterborough (Or rather Orton Hall). I've been advised to keep clear of the town centre :D

I somehow missed all these three games, but I'm wondering if they are worth getting now considering their age?
I played the 2008 version of PoP but got fed up with it really fast due to the fact that you couldn't die. The 'Forgotten sands' seemed pretty good though, but I only tried it briefly at my brother's place.
So, if the 2 last of the trilogy are not that great - it's almost a case of 'Sands of time' vs. 'Forgotten sands', in which case I'm leaning towards getting 'Forgotten sands'. Does that sound like a good decision?
Thinking about it, perhaps I should just get AC:Brotherhood instead :)

Heat added - enjoyed the first one years ago. Good price for all 3, especially HD.
