Not sure it this is a good idea, even if your daugther is 5 by the time she is 8 she probably will hate that TV, I have 2 girls one 5 and ther other 8 and none of them like Princesss anymore. I guess the little one does not like it because her sister does not anymore..

So probably no a wise idea, specially as you probably will have to change their TV in 3 years os so.

Also I think is a bit expensive anyway.

my daughter is Disney Princess mad would love this TV. I don't understand your 'logic' on this one. They make them, obviously there is a market for them. Perhaps i should stop buying her Disney Princess dress up outfits as when she gets older she will have outgrown them and will no longer love Disney Princess'.

Please offer your opinion on the price, and if you can find it cheaper elsewhere, please post.

I was about 21 before I got my own TV ;-)

It is a decent price. Could do with putting the price and retailer in the thread title though, as is usual on deals :)

I think the point that was being made is that a TV isn't bought to last a couple of years but a dress up outfit is.

I think kids are interested in whats on the TV, not what the TV looks like.

price wise, not bad. Although definitely wouldn't give my daugther a telly in her room. No wonder this country's got a youth obesity crisis- kids should be out playng, swimming etc

My eldest daguther was mad about Princess when she was 3-5 but now she is 8 and does not like it at all. I do not think she will like to have this TV in her bedrrom now especially when her friends come to play at home, etc. Unfortunately Peer pressure is something that you can not avoid :?
She is into Camp Rock, Hannah Montana, etc. I am just giving you advise on whether is a good buy or not based on my experience, again you are obviously free to get it if you feel like is a good deal. I particularly do not think is it.

I do not think comparing a dress with a TV is a good comparison though.

You can get a half decent 22" with DVD built in for less than this and your Princess/Angel will love it more because (and I quote :) ) her friends have only got stupid little tellys and they're baby pink ones

in 18 months she will find her Princess phase embarrassing and this will be landfill. Get a normal TV & tart it up with some stickers!
