How does the image transfer compare to the DVD version.
I picked up the DVD version (£3) a few months ago but if the image quality high, this will be in the order box and my sister can have the DVD.

No idea but I have the DVD and just upgraded to Blu-Ray. I figured with the number of crappy but cheap Blu-Rays that I have bought through HUKD, I may as well spend money on a classic.
You could order it anyway, you'll probably get an email shortly after saying that you'll get it sooner like this (I did)...

i have both dvd and bluray releases. from what i remember its a pretty good transfer.
Absolutely love this film, the book is surprisingly good too.
