Stock levels constantly changing at Waterstones and Amazon at around £8.00, but currently available.

I enjoyed reading this last month, it gives you a very interesting backstory into her life and behind the scenes on Star Wars.
A good read for anyone, not just fans of the star wars franchise. Taken from the world way too soon.

£8 from Amazon is just fine for me. It's on back order and has been in and out of stock over Christmas a few times. Not sure this is a deal as you are paying more just because its in stock.

Would this have been posted if the circumstances weren't so tragic?

I really hope this isn't a cheap way of getting HDUK heat. I love Carrie so I'd hate to see this happen.

Someone is selling the PDF version of this book on eBay for £2.79 so you could be reading this badboy tonight!

What EstorilBlue said. Never, ever, ever try cashing in on, or getting heat from, a person's death. Ever.

I don't think they were trying to 'get heat', it's just an attempt at a tribute. Who gives a rats a**e about getting heat? It's completely meaningless.

Great. Let's mug off a dead person by buying a knock off of their hard work on eBay for a course let of quid.

Always strikes me odd when somebody posts a deal about a person soon after that person has passed away.

Shouldn't be allowed on here out of respect.

Although that said that in itself would be hard to police especially this year in particular.

No vote just my opinion.

That's the cheapest price for this.
People have voted hot on deals where you sign up for national trust Hawaii for $20 depriving our own country of money so ethics aren't exactly synonymous with HUKD when there's money to be saved.

She was an actress, not a real princess. Take a deep breath and take a dose of chill pill!

Quite a few people who post deals here do it just for that, so they can see the deal being voted up and their activity feed lighting up. They get self-gratification and the site owners get money.

I'm sure I called her "a person" and not "a princess".

That was probably the most random reply ever. Squiff didn't make any comment about a Princess...I can only assume the title of the book and its subject matter has confused you.

Through affiliate links. That's how sites like this earn money.

Not every deal posted will have an affiliate link but the ones that do, the site gets a percentage from each sale, I think it's anywhere between 2% - 10% maybe a little more, it depends what the retailer offers and what the product is. It's "pennies on the pound".

Really? How do you think websites with so much traffic generally survive?

The people that own HUKD also own Quidco and they are earning millions every year conservatively. It's cute that you think they run this site for purely altruistic reasons!

I finished the audiobook version of this just last week. Read by Carrie herself. Recommended.

Thats a very patronising answer, I can assure you I am not as wet behind the ears as you think and certainly not cute. The fact this site is owned by Quidco would have sufficed, which I wasnt aware of.
