How do you get the £135 price? Topcashback link says £143 charge in 1st year. 10.5% cashback..

Cheaper to get an Amex Gold Charge Card. 2 free passes, £15 for each additional visit - so 10 visits at £120 minus £10 TCB = £110. Also get some further benefits with the Amex Gold...

After spending 3hrs getting through check in and security you're already late for the flight. Who has time to sit in airport lounge?

Those who turn up 4 or more hours earlier?

e.g. leave home on an empty stomach, get to the airport, go through three more hours of starvation, get to the lounge... eat and drink as if your life depends on it :D

then spend the whole flight complaining how you ate to much and block the bog on the plane :D

Living in the stone age pal! I don't remember the last time I had to wait 3 hours to get through. I definitely don't remember the last time I checked in AT the airport!

Good for you, unfortunately, those of us with children have to check in hold luggage.

This Marriott offer is for £127 for 15 months. Longer card validity and no need to wait for cashback to pay out.

It's a shame you can't share the 10 passes within your family when traveling together. Guess this deal is only give if you travel frequently by yourself or if you can afford to buy more than one membership.

Wouldn't go for it as it is just not worth it. Most of the PP lounge doesn't offer that many food or drinks, especially in EU and US.
Get a Amex Platinum or HSBC World Credit Card if you need to use more than 10 times a year for better value.

Lounge is useful for transit flights I used to have Barclays premier life lounge access used it all the time

Yes but it comes with other benefits such as travel insurance and car rental insurance etc... In addition, you can have another platinum card and a gold card which share the cost as well. A platinum card can take your families to the lounge rather than just yourself. You also get 30000 AVIOS sign up bonus when you open an account which is worth £250+.
HSBC Premier World Elite is £195 annual fee, which comes with unlimited access to lounge as well. You have 20000 (£150) AVIOS signup bonus and another 20000 (£150) AVIOS if you spend more than £12000 for a year.

But what I am trying to say is PP lounges in EU and US is not wroth the money, most of them are just not good.

There is only 1 platinum card, the platinum cashback is not platinum card, the just make up the name. Platinum card has access to FHR
