This is a pretty good little tent it does get good reviews, from personal usage, I am 5'10" and fairly chunky :p it was a snug fit but more than doable. it felt pretty solid when fully up and I think would be fine in all sorts of weather, however the main two downsides for me are the 'bag area' is tiny, my 35l rucksack got put back in the car as it barely fitted and I didnt want it soaked from condensation in the morning so not sure how well this would hold up if touring, I know I would want a little more storage room Lastly the bag it comes with is also far too small, it is a really tight fit, if you do get one make sure you take good note of how it is folded when you take it out the bag as it really is hard work getting it back in. I have never found out how to do the poles properly and have them sticking out a couple of inches which is annoying.

Overall great value for the price!

I'm 6 foot and 20 stone and I use this tent 3-4 times a year with no faults. I also use a two person bag and inflatable mat.

Great tent.

It's a cheap copy of one of the best one man tents ever made, I've got one myself and you won't find better until you go up past the £100 mark!

Just ordered one of these for exactly that reason! Lets hope the weather picks up a bit before winter "starts"

Would anyone in Oxford area like one?

Could buy a few in the same order and split postage costs.

Not bad, cheap & cheerfull.

Although you put the inner up first which means if it's phishing it down you'll get a wet tent unless of course you try putting it up with the outer draped over you and the inner if it's raining.

Ordered, many thanks!

I don't have it but this tent is a bit legendary due to low cost and quality and low(ish) weight (sp.after modding) amongst wild campers. Argos used to have greys of it a few years back as the current colour (neon) is the worst for stealth or normal wild campers. But it is perfect for biker campers who fear being run over while asleep. I personally don't like hole in the wall doors and the Gelert Solo 2010 is also cheap and in reasonable colours with a lenght-wise entry. But this is slightly more solid. It has not been available in store at Argos, as the OP hinted, for nearly two years and it just came back in stock for online ordering a few weeks ago. It should be unexpired.
