If you don't need a long lead or surge protection, I would try poundland or 99p stores, maybe other similar shops. They sometimes have wall ones and other times have ones with a short lead, 0.5 metre normally. Otherwise I do not know unfortunately.

Great price. Thanks. Heat added.

Does this have to stand vertically?

Does this have to stand vertically?

It has five sockets on either side, so ideally yes, but the vertical stand is removable so if you prefer you could have it laying down but the plugs would be a bit of a mess coming out of it in that scenario.

thank you, mess at 5" high I'm allowed, at a good foot high, no chance!

I saw the picture before the deal, I got completely the wrong impression...

Are these as convenient as the normal strip style ones? I can't see these being very practical. Regardless, voted hot as it's a great deal.

how do you find these cheaper items the same thing is on the right hand side at £11.65
http://cpc.farnell.com/pro-elec/2710surgeblk/extension-tower-10g-black/dp/PL11229?crosssellid=PL11229&crosssell=true&in_merch=true&

when you list the items via browsing the depts your item doesn't show up, Ive experienced this many items on deals posted on here for cpc just wondering how people manage to find them

Would this be OK to run 5x four bar electric fires, a double oven, hair straighteners and an electric hob at the same time?

What people do is they find an item they want, and then add 01, 02, 03 etc to the end of the product code, since CPC do promotions and don't always remove promotions when they have ended, these links sometimes work to get the item at a promotional discount. In my experience, it is worth going up to about 15-20 but unlikely to get any luck after that. eg. This item is PL11229, but the promotional discount when they had it on sale linked to product PL1122903, it is the same item but at a lower price.

If that is your intended use of this item, I would suggest not having it plugged into a mains socket.

If you wish to commit mass suicide I highly recommend these, worked well for my fanily. For extra effect got 11 of these then get 50X fires, 10 double ovens, 10 hair straighteners and 10 hobs.

I imagine the fuse in the plug would blow first, but hey, if anyone wants to try it, as long as they live nowhere near me I have no objections.
