Yep I noticed how fast its price is dropping, I think it is because everyone is getting the Fifa game instead. Good price for us PES fans though :)
#2
Hot... Although this seems to be the going rate every where at the moment. I have Amazon Prime so next day free delivery!
#3
Glad i didnt pre order this, saves myself 17 quid.

I just hope fallout gets to this price before xmas.
#4
should be at tenner at most. i had kept with konami from iss64 to pro08 on ps3 but it has been surpassed by fifa at least in last 2 years anyway.
#5
Here come the cold votes coting because they dont like the game and not the price.

I'm surprised it has fallen so quickly, it is a huge improvement on the last few years.

If you have abandoned PES since 360/PS3 was launched I would definitely recommend trying this.
#7
This is probably the best it's been since PES 5 to be honest. It's still way off FIFA though but I guess they're not trying to match the gameplay. Shame they still have difficulty getting licensing for teams. I think PES should undercut FIFA prices on launch to really be competitive and pull old fans back.
#8
I like playing PES 06, as it seems easier to use but the later versions have much better graphics and replays so it's pays ya money and takes ya choice!

Ive hated Pro Evo on the next generation FIFA Has been FAR better over the last few years...BUT just based on the positive reviews from IGN i gave the Demo a try and it seems like its finding its way again...Anyone who has the game - is this a return to form?

Cheaper here and if you order now you'd probably get it tomorrow.

Won't be long before cex realise.

They're pretty good these days adjusting trade/cash prices based on internet price drops.

Still if you have PES2011 already, go cash it in, and then order here, get a few quid back that way :)

Go 17,99 Go!

I'm not going to vote hot or cold but would point out that many of my friends, even the most devout PES fans have conceded that this years game isn't very good and fifa is much better. Personally I've played both and bought FIFA having played PES all through uni. The biggest problem this year is the sliding, it's all wrong on pro evo as a stricken defender who mis times the challenge just forms a blockade that it a nightmare to get around!

Sad to see the state PES has got itself into.

I've always been a fifa fan, but fifa requires competition from PES, and at the moment, its just got doing it.

Yup massive shame :( I used to love PES but its FIFA all the way for me now (the continued argument goes on i guess)

They will price match I am sure. Otherwise you can just buy a second copy and use it to request a return on the one bought on Friday.

I paid £27 on release and thought that was a bargain, great price though, fun game !

If what you say is true then you shouldnt be dissapointed with PES2011. The problem for old PES fans that gave up on all next gen iterations from Konami is that they have become too comfortable with Fifa and its heavily assisted controls and constant counter attack style gameplay. You need to give PES2011 a bit of time, get comfortable with the controls and try to ignore the majority of poor transistion animations!

Good price, I bought Fifa last year but this is my game of choice this year and I'm really enjoying it to be honest!
#25
I am hoping this does sell just so it gives EA a kick up the ass! FIFA 11 has problems which should have been fixed but EA ignored the gamers who want a true sim again.

Not being funny dude but PES always was heavily assisted for years. I do agree that FIFA assist the gamer too much on default controls but PES was doing this for years.

The best way to play FIFA is manual controls but hardly anyone uses it when playing online. EA need to ditch assisted controls as a default and at lest make semi-assist the new default.

I also play Fifa 11 on full manual...couldnt possibly play the game any other way. Fifa's assists are gamebreaking in my opinion. They need to be there for the many casual young fans they have but there should be no room for them in a competitive (ranked) environment.

I agree, semi should be the default and assisted should only be allowed offline and in uncompetitive games/game modes. Anyhow back to deal...

PES is so much better than FIFA arcade 2011.
#31
Defo the best footie game this year.
#32
hot hot hot! At least it doesn't have an online code like fifa.

Here come the cold votes coting because they dont like the game and not the price.
I might only be speaking for myself, but I voted it cold because a game that drops £18 in a matter of weeks is surely not worth the hassle of buying?

Complained to Amazon and got a refund on the difference, great customer service.

I've personally been a Pro Evo fan since the ISS days and to me it never disappoints no matter what people think of FIFA. I have tried playing FIFA but for me Pro is always number 1.
#35
I've been liking this years Pro Evo. Been playing it for a week and I'm used to it. Same as happens every year. People take this Fifa versus Pro Evo to seriously! You get people buying the game just to make knee jerk reviews of it.

One thing I'm not sure about in it is how you have to use a lot of passing to get into scoring positions which is good, but if you do a low cross into the net from the wing someone always taps it in, which is a bit too easy in my opinion.

Did you play this one? If not, leave your cold votes for yours deal, I will vote cold because something is cheap..???What? You are for the birds here...447°!!!
#37
Im tempted with this to be honest. FIFA 11 is good but its just lacking something. I might wait until its £17.99 but this is a hot price!
#38
none of these modern day games have the fun factor that pro evo had back in the day .... i remember Pro Evo 2004 playing with then average spain .... Joaquin and Vicente on the wings causing havoc on the flanks! The good old days!

That is the stupid reason, most new things will eventually drop down in price but this at the minute is the cheapest. Your pumpkins which you have posted will go down in price after haloween, so why post it if a week later I can buy them cheaper. Moron!

Good price, pap game.
