Cheapest around at the moment. Played demo on PS3 and really enjoyed yes. YES I know its not Fifa, please don't vote cold just because of this. Metacritic Score 82 out of 100 which is a good indicator of a games worth. Summary from site :

People was waiting for Pro Evo 2012 a half year for price drop. So happy waiting, especially that this part is much better then previous one. PRO EVO IS BACK!!!! What a gameplay.

To be honest it seems both games are on level playing field this year. Both still have major problems! I still not convinced by any of them as problems that should have been fixed havent been.

Pro Evo has fallen so for behind FIFA in when it comes to sales. Konami have themselves to blame though as they kept pushing it average games and allowed EA to take there fanbase.

I dont think Konami will ever get them players bck from FIFA exclusively.

PES has better AI than FIFA by miles IMO. Shame the rest of the game is SO far behind it makes it pretty much unplayable in comparison.
This may explain the price drop

Was always PES during the PS2 days, then moved to Fifa for the PS3. This year I've gone back to PES as it's different whereas Fifa hasn't moved on in 3 years, same types of goals, AI not much better and EA shoving their online services down my throat does my head in.

but even on evo-web I am reading that the AI in PES is still pretty bad and GK's are still a joke!

EA have always had problems with the AI.

I used to have the same attitude until I played FIFA last year, now I'm converted. (although I do play with 'Alternate' controls, shooting with circle is just wrong).
