I prefer these http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk/sports-supplements-energy-optimum-health-ultimate-caffeine-200-tabs-100-x-200mg-tabs

100 tablets of 200mg for £4.95 delivered and at the moment you get a free drinks shaker and delivered by first class, which normally turns up next day for me. Ideal for longer staying power and you don't have to consume as many as proplus

Have a day off! No different to coffee or any energy drink!

LOL.

speed, crystal and cocaine have the side effects mate! Yes take too many you feel like crap, but I've done that many a times with coffee red bull pro plus American energy drinks coke speed etc etc.

I love it when people comment like that! Non coffee drinkers! Although the world lives on it.

Be aware, only 50mg tabs. So 200mg will only be 12 dosages.

£2.30 divided by 12 is 19p.

By comparison (post by simplyjimbo) 100 tablets of 200mg for £4.95 delivered

£4.95 divided by 100 = under 5p. So a quarter of the cost of (always vastly overpriced) ProPlus.

Cold, as always!

People who dislike coffee etc and aren't very tolerable with caffeine will prefer small/lower doses to get their "kick"

I fully agree. The tabs that are mentioned from discount supps (or myprotein but a little dearer from memory) are quite large. They will half v.easily using your incisor teeth. If you were to quarter them, for a 50mg dose, then it's worth investing in a pill cutter that will make very clean cuts easily into quarters.

A pill cutter will set you back around perhaps £3 and is for life, not just for christmas ;-)

It's hard to tell from the picture but I think I have the top one from that list and has served me perfectly for many years now. Never had to sharpen the blade.

I just hate paying for branded products at sometimes 10x the price.

The worst offenders are branded product like Panadol when the equivalent Superdrug or supermarket own brand paracetamol tabs are literally pennies. Capsules cost more for those who have difficulty with largish tabs, but even then, generic capsules are many, many times cheaper than branded.

Just thought I would add a picture of what these tablets look like compared to a 50p and also a Centrum multivitamin. Caffeine is the white tablet.

Plus they break easily in half by hand without a cutter.
