I got this about a month ago for £25.99 @ Argos, stock is very limited but it is a great deal for those who don't want to wall mount a punch bag, instead of using weight disks to weigh it down we got 3 buckets, and filled them with cement and stones.. worked a treat, great little frame

can hold up to 100kg I think, once it's properly wieghed down it's great.

thnax, just ordered £32.94 including delivery though

now just where to put it, been looking for a stand that was cheap enough having almost had the top of my yard wall almost come down.

What is it like for putting up and taking down? I don't really have the room for it being up permanently. I have a 5ft punch bag at my mum and dads house, but was able to fix a bracket to the garage wall, don't have the luxury of this at my new place. Was thinking of putting it up in the garden and taking it down again when I'm finished. Also size wise for storing it away as well.

Erm, it would be way too much hassle to put up and down on demand to be honest. it comes in a box about 5 foot by 2 foot, half a foot deep, make of that what you will.

Very cheap, but i'm not so sure about the look of those thin bars that stick down the sides. I can imagine those really hurting if you caught your toes on them. If you did a low kick with your shins they'd get quite close by the look of it. Otherwise a bargain, very tempted. (hot)

Why wouldn't someone just get a wall bracket? Seems to take up a lot of space.

OP, the price should include delivery (as that's the only option available). The price therefore, is £32.94

Why not just get a bracket and put it on the out side wall, and take the bag off when your not using it, I have this problem, limited space.

Don't need another punchbag- got the missus

Nice if you have the room, but I know it would just take up space and I probably wouldnt use it much at home, I attend a boxing gym twice a week anyway.

Maybe a wall bracket is better for the other people?

Not bad with her make-up trowelled on when we go down the local on a Friday night. Trouble is after half a dozen ciders she's like a bitch on heat with the bouncers and when (if) we get home it just kicks off. She got in at 430 last week, ickies all over her neck. Got a good slap for that.
