can anyone who's already taken this tell me if theyve experienced any "side effects"? Ive started training over the past 3 weeks and take protein and glutamine but ive heard bad things about creatine causing all sorts of digestive problems. Any words of wisdom? :)

cheers,
but those two flavours were selling at £4.99, so not much of a deal really...

i suffer ibs too ..... dont let that put you off taking it . if you take it as described ie 6 weeks on 2 weeks off your be ok. you might be pleasently suprised with the results . you may gain a couple of pounds in weight ( mainly water induced into muscle cells. ) this in turn will make you a bit stronger in your bench ,squat , deadlift etc and this heavier workload will result in slightly more muscle mass. keep repeating this cycle of progressive resistance and muscle overload and remember to feed yourself consistantly with small regular protein portions/carbs each meal time and you wont fail to look awesome . no one will be kicking sand in your face again ;-)

Heat given to counteract that idiot above.

BTW - I've not any problems when taking creatine, at £1.99 you can try it and bin it if there's an adverse effect.

read a review somewhere that said it tasted great and mixed very welll with a fork which is a bonus, unlike some that go all clumpy .
#33
Pointless adding Argos deals they are always out of stock - were they ever real offers or just a gimmick to get you on to their website?
#34
pointless in buying this cheap stuff,

Hear me out..I read up alot of stuff in the last 8 years,. i dont workout with weights at all much now, just alot of running,

you can make your own drinks at home, yes it will cost you about 50p per bottle/ batch shock horror, look on youtube, search google tons of drinks to be made,

Of course you cant compare a home made drink to a 30£ per kg PROPER Whey protein powder,

I'll be amazed if this sh!t dose anything for you that a health diet and regular workouts wouldnt do for you just drink water,

people have in the passed come up to me and tell me "wow i drink this stuff every time i train for 6 months its paying off look at me" etcetc, my point is you would be putting on muslce anyway if your eating / training right,

dont take it to heart cadmus, thats how i read it too, @ the now-banned poster :)

not to be a pussy but the idea of creatine supplements in any form scares me. just seems like the process using an enzyme to increase the micro-tears of muscle fibres may be more dangerous than anybody lets on. Im sticking to plain whey shakes... for the moment

anyway, no stock in sheffield - decision made!
#37
I might be wrong, but doesn't creatine help fill your muscles with water, therefore making you look bigger?

I might be wrong, but doesn't creatine help fill your muscles with water, therefore making you look bigger?

i normally use prolab creatine and yes you are correct ,your muscles will act like a sponge and take in water giving you a fuller appearence . this effect WILL make you slightly stronger and thus build new muscle tissue over a period of weeks/months . creatine also makes me very vascular which is a huge plus for me!
1-Provide additional energy for your muscles
2-Volumization of your muscles (water pulled into the muscles)
3-Buffer Lactic Acid build-up
4- Enhances Protein Synthesis
so theres four big pluses to taking creatine ...... unless "LIPPO999 " disagrees as he thinks im a total idiot on this subject.... stick to your hayfever supplements lippo and leave this to the big boys .;-)
