great price.

Great price indeed. Worth taking a punt on at that price especially as it will most likely end up as a clothes rack.

OK bench had this when i started training 4 years ago. its not too sturdy, cannot put alot of weight on it without it feeling unsecure.

Great price though. paid double for it i think.

its good for low weight & high reps though. people need to learn balance & get their formation right first anyway

I benched 100kg on one of these before, it wasn't a nice feeling.

This is a cracking price, I bought this for £44.99 about 9 months ago and it does the job. I would reiterate what has been said in that it is a little unsteady with the bigger weights, but for £23 you certainly cannot complain!

Agreed X).
As some people mentioned above, not one for heavy weights but will be good for people starting to lift weights. Voted Hot!

Shocking company, and customer service.

I have to agree with dvhendo . Having trained for over 20 yrs , this bench is ideal as a starting platform or for somebody just looking to tone up .
I certainly wouldn't conscider overloading the bench and would always advise using a spotter when reaching your limits .

shame there aint any in my area. been waiting for a cheapish weight bench since i just started getting fit lol

This bench seemed a good idea until I started reading the comments, it does look kind of un-sturdy, I'm almost around the 100kg mark, and deffinetley need to carry out proper form when doing that kind of weight, I don't think its possible with this bench.

If you weigh less than 70KG like me and bench less than 80KG then this bench is fine i reckon

i weigh 80KG & do 3 sets of 20 reps with 70KG (including barbell). Don't really wanna go higher than that, especially as i got back issues. If I wanna inprove then I might move to 25-30 reps.

Chip resistant, hmm wish I was then I wouldn't need one of these.

thats about all the power you need for something as flimsy as this. Great price but in no way a substitute for going to a gym. £23 is good though just for those snowy weeks where gmys decide to close early etc

Just get a girlfriend.........its a much more enjoyable workout.

Not necessarily, they wouldn’t say 120kg for the stands and 200kg user weight just for the sake of it. Even then there is most likely a threshold so it will take a lot more, they wouldn’t want a whole load of injury claims coming their way…

I'd like to add that it'd obviously feel unsturdy if you're on carpet..
